Pretty much any parent of a school-aged kid knows the hassle of back-to-school shopping. Just as the children are getting upset that summer vacation is almost over, you have to run to the overflowing stores filled with other parents who are also buying their kids’ last minute essentials. Not to mention, the cost of supplies can be quite pricey and can put a dent in anyone’s wallet. However, when one teacher from Iowa came across a group of parents complaining that their kid’s teachers were making them buy so much stuff – just as he was purchasing items for his classroom out of his own pocket – he was left dismayed.Just when he was feeling under-appreciated, a kind stranger approached him and turned his day around with a thoughtful gesture. When he got home, he realized that he had to share his story with others, in hopes that people would learn a valuable lesson.
