For several years I lived in the southern African countries of Botswana & Zimbabwe, and I return to Africa regularly to sketch; work with conservation organizations, and lead Art Safaris. When I'm in Africa, I sketch animals, people and landscapes from life using pencil, pen & watercolor. When I return to my studio, these sketches are the basis of my paintings, created in watercolor on paper or in fluid acrylic on canvas. I make donations to African conservation organizations from every sale. Printed by a professional printer, using archival inks on watercolor paper. Sold unframed. The print should be matted and framed under glass or acrylic (plexi-glass). It is important to use a frame with a mat so the print does not come into direct contact with the glass or acrylic.
