This photo is taken in the same grove as my earlier post from last week. The sun was not hitting any of the wood sorrel that is carpeting the forest floor in this image, so there is not as much warm light. This trail also appeared to get more use, since it was closer to the road when compared to my last image of this grove. This is a magical place, and must be viewed in person to get the full sense and scale of the old growth Redwood trees, the wood sorrel, and the quiet that comes from standing amongst the giants.
