Just think of it, a cute gift bag with a big box of wine and this cute little decoration to give them all the love for dealing with 30 kids for crummy pay. As per usual, 1/8" material for the front and back & there are two layers of 1/4" material- I like MDF for that part. For the back, you can use 1/8" again. This is the first time I tried making a bookshelf out of acrylic- pretty shiny and cute! Everything is cut, except Wormy's eye: I back fill with a touch of black acrylic paint. To adhere, I used spray glue: the pieces are so little, it gives nice coverage. You could also do 3m, but I always forget- womp womp. As designed, the bookcase is just about 5.5" tall. You can go smaller, but you won't be able to put big books on the shelves standing up. Of course, you can always go bigger, go big or go home? HUGE HINT! If you do not like the tedium of making eleventybillion little books, oddly enough, The Bezos Machine sells sets of little 1:12 dollhouse books for super cheap, like 29 mini books for under $10, so go there and purchase a few sets if you are going to make these to sell! Files made for and tested on a Glowforge and tested on a Chinese laser, as well- though it should be fine on any other machine. Love this bookshelf?
