Stampin' UP! put out this video on how to make an Easel card. I've been wanting to make one for awhile now. Following these instructions made it sooooooo easy! For my card I used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO228) to design the card front, and the colors I chose simply by going through all my colors and finding ones I hadn't used in awhile. Can you believe I haven't been using Perfect Plum & Elegant Eggplant? I suppose Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush have been keeping me enthralled. :) I do love my purples. I paired these with Blushing Bride for a bit of contrast and used Very Vanilla as my base. It's pretty close. I didn't have the right punches or dies to copy the sketch exactly, but I used what I had and made it work. That's really what inspiration is all about, use the ideas on this blog as a starting point to create something yourself. I would love to see what you are creating!
