There are multiple options to print. I created two sets with prompts, and one set without a prompt. Choose to print either "This year, I want to..." or "This summer, I want to..." depending on the time of year you are doing this project. There are 8 different sunglasses to choose from, making it super fun to personalize for each student. I created idea sheets for hairstyles, ears, lips, and noses. I added enlargements of the blank face with hairstyles at the request of a buyer. Their hope is to be able to turn the project into more of a cut and paste art project. I created one example of how to do the "This summer, I want to..." my example shows "Have a bonfire and see the ocean" then I put a picture of each activity in the sunglasses. What a great way to get to know your students! Great for Primary School Students or Elementary Students The sunglasses make this very appealing to the younger ages. Students can focus on getting their other facial features accurate and wait on drawing realistic eyes. Many artists draw or paint self-portraits. Use this lesson while learning how to draw yourself. The step-by-step directions ease students into drawing each facial feature. Keep in mind; the shapes and details can be changed to suit their own face. The final page of the PDF has a condensed version of the step-by-steps if you preferred to print one out for each student. Two can be printed on each page to save paper. You could even laminate them for multiple uses.
