This building is an 8’ x 12’, three bent frame. It is unique in that it uses a traditional English tying joint at the intersection of the posts and crossbeams. The posts have a gunstock splay to provide extra strength at the tying joint, cut from heavy 6x10 beams. Other components are primarily 6x6s and 4x4s or similar dimensions. The bents run the 8’ width, tied at the tops by a plate beam. There is a framed opening for an end door. Windows may be placed where desired on the various walls. Includes all components needed for the frame: sills and joists, floorboards, posts, crossbeams, plates, braces, rafters, girts and nailers. As drawn, this frame uses a 12/12 pitch, with the main roof support being 6x6 beams framed as trusses and oriented over the posts. Cost is $6000 for a kit frame in white pine. Includes redrafting as needed, materials and jointery labor. Square Rule Frames can also supply other building components with this frame shipment, such as siding, roof boards, premade doors, etc. You may also call anytime to discuss: David Salvetti- cell (315) 341-8720. * Thanks to a earlier customer for the great photos of this being assembled onsite!
