This is probably my favourite photo from my trip to Northumberland. I was hunched up on the rocky outcrop at the north-western end of Bamburgh beach (taking this shot amongst others) when I noticed the waves hitting a little cranny in the rocks to my right. I shuffled over, hunched down on the rocks and rattled off a few rapid-burst sequences as each wave came in. This one I'm chuffed with: never mind the water and the castle, you just don't get light like this every day. I'm a lucky boy indeed!
