I did the research, but not enough! I looked at many pictures of the Bow Fiddle Rock and thought a nice slow shot or a sunset would be good. I was training in Inverness, so half way to the Moray coast! When I got to Portknockie I realised the Rock was facing the wrong way for a sunset, perhaps ideal for a June sunrise- for anyone in the area, hint hint!. The sun had almost left the cove in front of it and there was little tide action! So the scene wasn't what I wanted but I took some shots anyway. I hope this is slightly different to other images of this well shot quartzite eroded lump!
