This panel is a curtain/shade that develops Bojagi (Pojagi/Jogakbo) patchwork, a traditional Korean textile art, into a modern design. When Bojagi is used as an interior decoration, the seams of the fabric pieces are highlighted with geometric lines by the light coming from outside. This gives the feel of modern textile art and creates a sophisticated and beautiful interior atmosphere. In addition, since the seam appearance and stitching on the front and back of the panel are the same, it can be used as a hanging partition. When used as wall decoration, the texture of the natural fabric and the feel of handmade seams give the comfort of textile art. This is a handmade piece created by Jessica Yoo, who has been working as a textile artist for a long time, using the unique Korean traditional Bojagi patchwork skills. 1 panel size(inch) : 52W x 84H / 52Wx95H / 52Wx102H / 59Wx95H / 59Wx102H Fabric: Linen 55% x Cotton 45%. ABOUT THE ARTWORK This image was part of series of images that were made with a 3D modelling software. The works came about through my interest in the interaction between light and object motion. I was drawn to the weightlessness of the forms and how they move in an out of the background as if they were part of the atmosphere.
