독일 민하임에는 일명 '빌링(billing: 청구서)'라는 별명을 지닌 기존의 아르누보(Art Nouveau) 건물과 연결시켜 새로운 박물관이 건설되었는데, 이는 '도시 속 도시'의 개념으로 설계되었다. 전반적으로 단순한 구조 속에서 개별 큐브들이 각기 전시공간과 기능을 지원하는 공간을 제공하는 '영감을 불러일으키는 구조' 속에 배열되었다. Compact, functioneel en klassiek ingedeeld: dat is de woning van Yann en Charlotte in een notendop. Het koppel woont sinds eind vorig jaar in hun villa die tot in de puntjes afgewerkt en tot in de kleinste details aangepast werd aan hun wensen.

Naar uitstraling van het gebouw is gekozen voor een tijdloos gebouw, dat door zijn fijne detaillering en minimalistische materiaalkeuzes opvalt.

Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten werd door Vogelensangh, een steenfabriek met een rijke historie en de enige resterende waar baksteen in traditioneel kolengestookte ovens wordt gebakken, gevraagd een eigentijds paviljoen te ontwerpen. Dit resulteerde in een ontwerp waarin zowel het exterieur als interieur, de tijdloze, ambachtelijke schoonheid van de handvormsteen tot zijn recht laat komen.

도시의 기념비적인 작품을 제공하고자 새로 지어진 Béziers (프랑스 남부 베지에) 재판소는 바위로 이루어진 3개의 층인 것처럼 보인다. 각 층에는 계단과 파티오가 채석장 돌 사이로 위치해있다. 층이 나저 있는 거대한 돌덩이는 빛이 안으로 들어가 내부 풍광을 마치 오아시스처럼 보이게 한다. 각 면의 투명성은 중심에 위치한 음영진 가든을 들여다보게 하면서도 시민의 대기 장소나 재판소까지 이어지게 되어 있다. 빌트인 가구가 각 공공장소와 사무실에 배치되어 있는 데 이또한 편안함을 자아내도록 설계되어 있고, 리셉션 공간이나 사무 공간에 완벽하게 잘 맞는다.
