René Gruau (4 Feb 1909 – 31 Mar 2004) is one of the most well known and best fashion Illustrators. Everything he did, he evoked the glamour and style of the world of high fashion Gruau's first position as artistic director for advertising was in 1947 with Christian Dior. Gruau worked for the most famous magazines such as Marie-Claire,Elle,Vogue,Harper's Bazaar & Flair. Today Gruau’s works are collected and exhibited by the finest art institutions including the Louvre in Paris. All illustrations are amazing but I just chose some of them...
