Mes estampes sont des traces de l’effet persistant de petites choses aperçues ou imaginées : gravées, capturées en une reconstruction méticuleuse, dans la planche de métal, puis imprimées à l'encre grasse sur papier. J'ai toujours eu un attrait pour l'univers des planches d'Histoire Naturelle, qui m'a engagée à explorer l'eau-forte notamment, éprouvant avec bonheur les différentes contraintes offertes par le matériau gravé. Le métal, par morsures et incisions, répond à ce désir de représenter avec des détails précis, des textures minutieuses. Dans mes images reste cette attention au réel, à ses détails, textures et matières, mais il n'est pas seulement question de description minutieuse du monde tel qu'il est : il y a toujours un pas de côté, parfois un trouble, une inquiétude de la raison, une ouverture aux possibles de l'imaginaire et à d'énigmatiques relations entre êtres vivants. vola-t'il?, eau-forte 2011 " Dans [...] Vola-t'il? ou Figures, Iris Miranda nous propose de résoudre une forme d'énigme, chaque élément de sa composition émettant une forme de proposition, à laquelle doivent répondre les autres éléments.
