This fascinating subculture was visited only once by Vermont DeadLine in my previous post entitled "And Now For Steampunk Completely Different". It is a new year, and in my humble opinion, it is worth revisiting. These people have taken every day objects and reinvented them into fascinating, [mostly] useful devices and gadgets. To me, the level of work put into creating what really is art, exemplifies Steampunk as a stand on its own genre. Thankfully, the exact recipe for creating anything Steampunk is one of constant improvisation. Using elements such as silver, brass, and copper; and items such as clock gears, old bullet casings, rivets and cogs (just for a start) these artists take you into a fantasy world of their very own. What makes steampunk especially tantalizing is the preferred method of power IS steam. Like what you see? ALL of these images were found on Pinterest, so check it out for your self by signing on and typing "steampunk" into the subject line. It's worth the trip! Elaborate Writing Utensils Pacman, anyone? Here are my display boards. They are simple, pretty cheap and lightweight. There are several ideas on youtube for more ideas using peg boards and such, search Paparazzi Accessories and I'm sure you will see tons. I use these, because, well foam board is pretty inexpensive and there is not a lot to it. (and my hubby aint home to make me the fancy ones lol!) Apologies for not having more pictures, those are located on my "laptop that shall not be named" that acted up on my in the beginning and I ended up shooting it. These are table top displays. Here is what you will need. Everything is located in Walmart 1. Foam board color of your choice, be sure to buy them at same store to get all the same size ;) $4 2. Decorative packing or duct tape found in either the mailing envelopes section in or the paint sections. $2.99+ 3. Box of picture hangers that come with a nail and hanger. you will need at least 300 or more. Located in hardware in walmart. Get the boxes that have at least 100 more in each box. Roughly $3-4+ 4. Hot Glue gun and sticks. 5. Velcro strips (optional) 6. Lettering (optional) located in scrapbook sections In this picture above I have 2 foam boards taped together and there are 3 "sets" side by side in accordian style. I will be using the foam boards individually on another display stand. Step 1: -lay two boards side by side on flat surface. determine if you want your display tall or wide. Either works. - leaving at least 1/2" gap between the 2 boards, tape down the center of the 2 to connect them. The gap allows you to fold them later. Tape both front and back together -Continue taping the edges completely, keeping it as straight as possible. -Measure from the top tap 3 in" down, draw line with a pencil. This is where you will put a tilte if you choose. You see my "boutique's name" -Measure 3in" from that first line. This is the 1st row of products. -Measure from the outer tape line 3in" from the edge mark a point and draw pencil line down to bottom of board. This is the beginning of where you will hang products. Each hanger is placed at least 3in" apart. Hot glue on the board at marked spots or on velcro and then attach the velcro to the boards. This display holds 7 items across and 4 down. 28 pieces full. Bracelets, ear rings and some hair clips. This display holds 7 long necklaces on each side. This one holds 14 short necklaces or whatever will fit :) My boutique name is lettering located in the scrap book sections Our company logo printed with my name and consultant number in bottom right corner. Have fun and get creative! Show some pics in our group :)
“في حال التفلت الأخلاقي من بعض النساء اللاتي أبين إلا أن يجعلن من أنفسهن بضاعة رائجة للتكسب المادي عبر وسائل التواصل هناك نساء عفيفات تقف إحداهن كالجبل الشامخ أمام رياح الفتن العاتية. لا تتنازل عن شيء من أخلاقها وسترها. تربي أجيالا صالحين، يفخر بهم أهلوهم ويفرح بهم وطنهم.”
