Kiinnostavaa... ...mitä tästäkin tulee virkattuna. Yhdestä kerästä pyöräytetty. Löytyyköhän samanvärinen aloituslanka toisesta kerästä? Värin vaihtuminen näyttää virheeltä? Nytkö jo......ilo suruksi muuttui? Olis muuten kauniimpi lanka näillä hienostuneimmilla sävyillä? Kokonaisuus? Mietinkin miksi ostin tätä lankaa... Ompelin sukkalangalla. Kehittelin kaulukseen muotoa. Päätin rajata liukuvat värit ;) 15 kerää virkattuna. Voi tukka...
This listing is for a knitting pattern! A PDF of the pattern will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your purchase. For more information on this pattern see the El Matador Blog Post: http://www.thesweatshopoflove.com/blog/2013/04/15/new-pattern-el-matador/ and Ravelry Pattern Page: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/el-matador The word ‘cape’ just sounds hotter than the word ‘poncho’, am I right? Toward the end of winter there comes a point when you just can’t look at your coat anymore, and that is where this fun garment comes in. A cape transitions nicely to summer! Throw it over your shoulders on a chilly night. Worried about too much volume in your arms? Button them up to create bobbled sleeves any old school bullfighter would kill to wear. Play this bold look up by choosing a bright color, or keep it neutral to work El Matador into your everyday wardrobe. Yarn: Knit Picks Swish Worsted, 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 110yds/50g: Squirrel Heather, 11 (16) skeins. Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 36” circular (cir). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; 8 (9) 3/4” fabric covered buttons; fabric for the buttons. Notes: El Matador is worked from the neck down with raglan arm shaping and bobbles worked in just the growing sleeve sections. Garter stitch and ribs add extra texture throughout.

I love mixing lace features and DK weight yarn. For this shawl I wanted a French braid suspended by soft lace, inspired by the yarn Falkland Silk/ Merino DK color Plaque Ocre by Flying Color . Yardage useful tips (for every yarn weight) Weigh your yarn before knitting. For the body you should use at least half of the yarn. You can go up to a little more but not more than 60% of the total weight. Hope this little bit of mathematics will help you !

This very comfy oversized sweater is made using Illimani Yarn's bulky Llama ll, a super soft baby llama that works up nicely on a US10.5/6.5mm needle. Worked from the top down and from sleeve edge to sleeve edge in Stockinette & Sand Stitch (a variation on a k1, p1 rib) I would rate this pattern for at least an intermediate knitter for some of the techniques involved: invisible cast on, short rows and a 3 needle bind off. The pattern is written for 3 sizes: S, M & L (size is shown in L). But because the body is very generous, the best size for you is based on your height and arm length. If you are shorter but have a fuller figure, the L will be too big because the arms will be too long. If you are tall but more slender (or not), the L will fit better because the sleeves will be longer. Using the schematic will help you decide which size to make. Please note: if you are substituting the yarn, choose a yarn that is heavier in weight like an alpaca or a wool/alpaca blend. Llama is a heavier fiber (like alpaca) and that characteristic was factored into the design. Materials used: 8 (9, 10) skeins of Illimani Yarn's Llama ll 109yds/100m 10.5 US 6.5mm circular needle at least 47"(120cm) long 10 US 6mm 24"(60cm) to finish the neckline/collar This pattern is available in English only at this time. Pattern Updates: January 31, 2022 Fixed an omission in the instructions for the front section of the sweater. If you purchased this pattern before January 31, 2022 please message me for the updated pattern. Thank you! June 5, 2019: This pattern now includes a scaled down modified version (sample shown in the last photo) that uses 6 skeins of Illimani Yarn's Llama ll 109yds/100m Thank you!
