I have a video tutorial on my youtube channel for the method of ribbing used for the bottom of the sweater, It is written for worsted/Aran/10ply yarn, though I have had it made in dk yarn with very similar results. The pattern is written in US terms(English) and Latin American(Spanish) and stitches used are hdc, bobble (dc5tog), scblo and chain. Be sure to download the file in the language you choose. Its up to you where your sweater finishes as the length is easily adjustable to suit your preference.
