You're crocheting merrily away and then your fabric yarn runs out or you want to add a contrasting colour. So how to do join the strands together you ask? Like this..... This technique is for when you are using long strands of yarn and not a ball. Take the end of your yarn, fold over and cut a small slit like show in the top left image. Do this for both strands of yarn. You don't want a big slit as it will stretch alot. Poke your second strand through the slit. Take the tail for your second strand of yarn and poke it through the slit of the same second piece. Gently pull the second strand through. Take care and go slowly. Keep pulling until it looks like this. For Hoooked Zpagetti fabric yarn and accessories, visit The Haby Goddess online store.
