First card for October Christmas card class. I love the reindeer in this set so I had to stamp three! I added a rhinestone colored red to one nose! The reindeer are stamped in Crumb Cake on Whisper White. I added some of the Be Merry DSP to the bottom using the reindeer pattern. I added the Cherry Cobbler stitched ribbon around the middle then layered it all on a Garden Green base. I really wanted to use this sentiment...love the size and font! I stamped the sentiment on Cherry Cobbler and the accent at the bottom in Garden Garden. Just a fun card! Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by! Hello and welcome to another beautiful day. Wow there are only 18 Wednesdays including today until the last week of November. Have you started buying Christmas presents yet? I haven’t. I have my daughter’s sweet 16th first before I can think about Christmas presents. Today I am continuing on our One Sheet Wonder cards we are getting a lot out of 1 sheet of Be Merry Designer Series Paper aren’t we? 4 down And more to come. The card that I have made this week uses just the piece of DSP measuring 2 1/2'’x 5 1/4” and I have backed it with Garden Green card stock. This week I have used the Christmas tree side of the DSP and used the Merry Mistletoe stamp set. Such a quick card to put together using this method with all our DSP already cut. All I had to do is back the DSP in garden green card stock wrap some gorgeous Basic Black Shimmer ribbon and tie a double knot and adhere this to your Cherry cobbler card base. Stamp the greeting of Merry Christmas in memento ink and cut out using the stitched shaped oval framelit and baked that with a garden green scalloped layering oval framelit all cut out using the big shot! Adhere this to your card base over your already placed DSP with some dimensionals. On the leftover whisper white card stock from cutting out your Merry Christmas greeting use your embossing buddy and then stamp 3 garden green Christmas trees from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set and then sprinkle on the clear embossing powder and set with your heat tool. Cut these out and you have your 3 trees that you can pop up on the mini dimensionals which I just love! Now for a little bling once you have added your trees to the card and I have used the metallic enamel shapes. And don’t for get to add a bit of decoration to the inside of your card For more product information check out the list below. Hello there :), I have been writing a post to highlight what we experienced on Stampin'Up!'s 2017 Incentive trip to Thailand since Monday and I m still not finished. I guess I have a LOT to tell and show as we definitely experienced so much. So I am sharing something else instead, a new event. Actually is not new at all, I have been doing Christmas In July's since I started this business nearly 10 years ago but I am offering it a little differently this year. Christmas time is the most exciting holiday for me and for many of you I am sure. And it seems that no matter how early I start preparing for it I never quite get to be ready come Christmas Eve. So a trick I have been employing with my local customers in the past years is to set up a Christmas Club that runs from July till November that allows us to make, write and address!!! the bulk of our cards so that we are left with plenty of time for creating those special, more involved cards for our nearest and dearest in the months close to the main event. And from this year you can ALL join me and my local ladies and get ahead of time, making your own cards as I will be offering them as a posted option straight to your door. So without any more waffle from me my dear crafting Friend, let me present you July's Be Merry Bundle or Bundles. Hi there Welcome to week 6 of Christmas inspiration from the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team. This has been a topsy-turvy week and the card I have to share with you was originally made for Sunday's CASE-ing the Catty 'Holidays' section. However, before I could take the photos and finalise the post I had an unexpected stay in hospital and it didn't happen. It is now Tuesday and I'm thankfully back home resting and able to write this post and share the Christmas card I made. As you would expect then, my card is inspired by one in the...

Hi stampers! Sorry for the radio silence last week. I kind of ran out of things to share and steam to stamp. Ian didn't nap well one day and that cut into my stamping time! And then I had a follow up for my broken foot which wasn't idea. I'm healing but very slowly. The x-ray didn't look near like I thought it should after 5 weeks but the radiologist said he saw new bone growth so let's hope it's getting there! Anyway, THEN I was able to get a peek at the upcoming holiday catalog and now I want to STAMP ALL THE THINGS! It's incredible as always! I did make this Christmas card over the weekend but failed to get a picture taken when it was sunny, so I can share it now for a last hurrah of Christmas in July! Don't forget, if you sign up today, you'll get a great bonus gift with your starter kit...also Christmas in July! This card is pretty simple and self explanatory! Happy stamping! Hi! Welcome to this week's Heart Of Christmas. This week I decided to make a card from scratch, rather than modify a Watercolour Christmas Kit card. My daughter participated in a choral festival of music recently, and one of the sections of the performance was a retelling of The Nutcracker. It straight away made me think of the Christmas Around The World DSP, so that's the paper I reached for this week. I also wanted to use the new Tinsel Trim. I needed a 'reason' for it to be on the card, so I ended up splitting the front panel and using the trim to divide the two patterns. The tinsel is fabulous - a little bulky for mailed cards when you tie a bow - but a fun, sparkly addition to any card! Another Holiday Catalogue product that I hadn't used much is the Black Rhinestones - not just for Halloween, they make a nice addition to the sentiment panel on my card. The tinsel was a little bulky to add to the inside, so I opted for a strip of Real Red cardstock to edge the DSP. The sentiment is from Hearts Come Home. As usual, pop on over to Claire's blog where you can find the links to the rest of the team participating today. Not many weeks left now! Bye for now, Tina
It's time to share some more Christmas inspiration with you! I'm part of Claire Daly's Art With Heart Team, and every Wednesday some of us post Christmas creations, to give you ideas for using Stampin' Up! products. Today I am sharing with you two easy Christmas cards, using the new Merry Mistletoe stamp set, and Be Merry Designer Series Paper. I've kept the cards simple, with the idea of making multiples, and not getting thoroughly sick of the design before the process is finished! Two other new products on my first card are Garden Green stitched satin ribbon, and the Decorative Ribbon border punch (which provides the tiny scallops at the bottom of the white panel). I will share the list of products used for both of these cards, at the end of my post. I had formatting issues, trying to put separate "ingredients" lists for each card, so hopefully you'll be able to decipher for yourself which products were used on which card! If you click on any of the thumbnail images at the bottom of my post, you will be taken direct to my online store ... very handy, if you'd like to buy these lovely products! Here is my second card, featuring the absolutely delightful Cherry Cobbler Double-Stitched Ribbon: Because I used a dark-coloured card base, I adhered a piece of Whisper White card inside, and added some simple stamped detail, to complement the front of the card: Thank you for visiting my blog today.
