Reproduction WWII Air ministry (RAF - Royal air Force) whistle Marked 293/14/L1795. Used by the RAF & USAAF aircrews during WW2. Made by the original company, in the original factory, on the original machines and using the original dies. It is approx 45mm long x 23mm tall x 19mm wide and made from Nickel (chrome) plated brass. Original, they have just been made 70+ years after the first batch! They are made of brass and steel just as in the originals! Hand aged by us to reflect day to day wear. It has scratches, marks and blemishes and the brass can be seen to be wearing through in many areas. No two will be identical, each one is unique. The ideal gift for the Air Force re-enactor, military collector or military enthusiast, looks great on your A-2 flight jacket, just like the WWII aircrews did!
