Hi Stampin' Friends!! I've been busy designing Christmas cards for my upcoming Tulare County class and thought I wanted to use the Wondrous Wreath stamp set for a class project. I proceeded to start stamping and realized this stamp set would probably not be a good idea to use at this particular class. But I went ahead and finished the card anyway. So the card itself is NOT a reject, just using this stamp set for this class is. :) Stamps: Wondrous Wreath Ink: Old Olive, Cucumber Crush, Real Red Paper: Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, Merry Moments DSP Accessories: Wonderful Wreath Framelits, Striped Ribbon Today is the LAST DAY to join my Tulare County stamp class... Here are the details: WHAT: Purchase the Happy Scenes stamp set and coordinating Hearth & Home Thinlits from my Stampin' Up! website BEFORE October 1st using Hostess Code: BMV7Z6NA. Then come stamp with me!! WHEN: Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2 pm. WHERE: Tulare Community Church 1820 N. Gem St. Tulare CA 93274 WHO: YOU!!! (Or at least anyone that wants to drive to the Central Valley.) ;) This class will feature cards using the Happy Scenes stamp set and coordinating Hearth & Home Thinlits. I will also feature a couple other new Christmas sets. We will be making 6 to 8 cards in this class. Please remember to bring your adhesive, clear stamping blocks and scissors with you as I will not be providing them. Looking forward to stamping with you!! Thanks for stopping by! Krystal
This color challenge threw me for a loop! I started and threw out 4 other cards before it finally occurred to me that these colors would be perfect for a Christmas card with the Wondrous Wreath st…
Hi Stamping Friends!! I've been having so much fun doing seasonal "sets" with stamp sets, that I thought it would be fun to combine the Wondrous Wreath stamp set with the Hostess set Six Sayings to see if I could come up with four unique cards using only two stamp sets. Here is my first card: Stamps: Wondrous Wreath, Six Sayings, Hardwood, Gorgeous Grunge (texture on pumpkin) Ink: Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede Paper: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Corrugated Paper Accessories: Wonderful Wreath Framelits, Banner Punch, Circle Punch, Linen Thread This card was inspired by the challenge over at the TGIF challenge blog TGIFC27. This was a remix challenge where you had to choose two of the previous challenges and combine them into one card. Here are the two challenges I chose: The top challenge piece inspired my color scheme and also the circular, natural feel of the wreath. The bottom challenge inspired me to make a "thankful" card. I just started to play along in challenges again and it's been fun!! It's great when you can find a challenge blog as talented as the TGIF blog. Those stampers blow me away every time!! If you are interested in stamping with me, my November Online Stamp Class is now open. Here are all the details: Purchase the Snow Friends Bundle #140844 on page 33 of the Handmade for the Holidays catalog (Do not buy them separately. Love this card made by Laurie Krauss with the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set. The wreath is watercolored and looks so soft! How do you like the non-traditional Christmas colors? Coordinating Framelits make the wreath easy to do with no "fussy cutting" and the Textured Embossing Folder she used adds a lot of depth to the card. Even the little staple for the sentiment is perfect. The added loopies with the Linen Thread is an awesome addition. This card has it all in my book!
I used the Wondrous Wreath and Holiday Home stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.

Merry Monday #133 Rustic Christmas Many of you know I love Christmas and generally I'm more of a traditional girl, rich greens and bright reds, however this year, (if you haven't noticed!) I'm really loving the more natural, rustic look, with a touch of gold and a hit of sparkle. So why make a card and not play along to a challenge right?! Over at Merry Monday the challenge is to create a Christmas card using creams, tans and browns. Here's my creation: I cut some of the dark brown leaves out and glued just the corner, applied Crystal Effects and raised them a little after they dried. In 'real life' it gives the card a little more dimension. I coloured the pearls with the dark brown Blendabilities Alcohol Marker. Also, the little heart in swings, adding just a little bit more 'cuteness' - well that's what I'm calling it! Thanks for stopping by, Lou xo Below is a list of the main products I've used. Shock horror, I'm back with my second post for today and this one is using a brand spanking new stamp set, that will be available at the end of the month from Stampin Up called "Wondrous Wreath". When purchasing Christmas products, l generally like to buy those which can be used for more than just the intended purpose and this set, although awesome for Christmas, makes a very pretty floral wreath as well. I stamped 2 steps of the wreath (so easy with Photopolymer) in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive on a Very Vanilla card base and added some bitty flower punches in Pink Pirouette, Crisp Cantaloupe and So Saffron. I also used my Blendies to colour some Basic Pearls....loving this idea, it makes it so easy to have everything matchy, matchy. I love how dainty it looks...Pretty happy with this one..:0) "Thanks for stopping by" All supplies used are Stampin Up!

Yay it's Friday!! I am so glad the weekend is here, it's been another busy week here at my house! I have a quick project to share with you today using Wondrous Wreath. I chose that set because today my third project for the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Collection went live! This collection is full of amazing ideas to make your holidays brighter. If you are not a subscriber, there is still time! Just go to Create with Connie and Mary for all the details! Now, on to the set of gift tags. I wanted to try a new color combination for the wreath, so I went with brighter colors. Can you guess what colors I used?? I went with Pistachio Pudding and Wild Wasabi for the leaves and Strawberry Slush for the berries. Isn't this a fabulous combination?! I ended up making a set of 6 of theses tags to use. They are so bright and happy, I just love them! The tag started out with the wreath die cut and layered on a Strawberry Slush flower from the Floral Frames Collection. I added in a Strawberry Slush bow and a sentiment from Good Greetings. The sentiment fit perfectly on the banner that comes with the Snowflake Flip Card Thinlet. Lastly, a little bling was added. A rhinestone in the center of the bow and a bit of silver ribbon. I hope you enjoyed my bright and festive gift tags! They are easy to make and are a great way to add that extra touch to your gifts! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Follow my blog with Bloglovin Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
Yes, I know, glimmery is not a word (my spell check turns it red when I type it) but I couldn’t think of a better word (or non-word) to describe this card so I am going with it! One of the bad things

Hello and welcome to my blog post for Colour INKspiration 85. Another beautiful inspiration photo for this challenge. And the colour combination leant itself to so many ideas to create with. Decisions .....decisions! I have used the beautiful Arrange a Wreath Bundle for this challenge. I have had my eye on this bundle since the Annual Catalogue came out. I am so happy I purchased it as it is sure to be a favourite as I love wreaths. The detail in the Wreath Builder dies is stunning! Start with a Sahara Sand card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm scored and folded in half. Cut another piece of Sahara Sand card stock to measure 10.2cm x 14.6cm Cut a piece of Shimmery White card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm. On a piece of Shimmery White card stock to the size of the wreath then use your Water Painter to water colour the card stock with Pear Pizzaz ink. Die cut the leaf wreath. Cut a piece of Vellum card stock the same size as the more detailed wreath die and die cut the wreath. On another piece of Shimmery White card stock colour some Rich Razzleberry, Gorgeous Grape and Misty Moonlight ink with your Water Painters. Die cut the small flowers in Rich Razzleberry, Gorgeous Grape and Misty Moonlight. To make the flowers have a Misty Moonlight centre place the flower on a glue dot then place the small centre from a Misty Moonlight flower in the centre of the other coloured flowers. See image Glue the Pear Pizzaz wreath to the Vellum wreath. Then glue these layers to the Shimmery White card front. Arrange flowers around the wreath adhering with the glue dots. Cut a length of Linen thread and tie in a bow. Glue to the base of the wreath. Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Shimmery White Card stock in Misty Moonlight ink. Cut this into a thin strip with an angled end. Use dimensionals to adhere to the left side of the wreath. Glue the card front to the Sahara Sand layer then adhere these layers to the card base using dimensionals. I hope you have enjoyed reading how my card came together. I really love how this one turned out and enjoyed water colouring before die cutting the images. Thank you so much for visiting my post for his challenge. You are greatly appreciated! Make sure you look on the Colour INKspiration facebook page to check out everyones creations for this challenge. Hope you are taking care and staying well! Hi everyone! Sundays are always fun because it's time for another Paper Players challenge...this one from Joanne! I always think that this color combo is so classy together. I chose to go with the gold, and add a bit of red. The wreath is from Penny Black, and I just adore it! I have been happily cutting out just about every color of wreath I can think of. I often laugh at myself when I think of how PAPER can make me so happy! For this card I layered a white wreath on top of a gold one,to add a bit more texture. I cut the bow out of gold foil, too. Here you can see the tiny red jewels I adhered for a bit of color: The sentiment is stamped in black form SU's Six Sayings. I think there will be LOTS of great cards entered in this challenge...such an awesome color combo. I can't wait to visit all the blogs and see what you all come up with!
