Welcome guests with the lovely cream/lemon/lavender artificial wreath. It has a mixture of carnations, lilies, lavender and lots of mixed foliage. There is a small pick which is included (but not stuck in, so you can easily remove this if not required). This wreath is ready to go and I try to post the day following the order. Approximate size leaf to leaf, Height: 52cm Width: 52cm Use on a door, wall fireplace etc. If displaying outside, like any wreath, it’s best under a porch away from strong wind and rain and full sun to reduce fading. If you have any questions please message me, or if you like the design but with different colours always happy to help 👍 Thank your for viewing my page. Tina 🌼🌺💐xx
Just noticed only 5 more followers until I reach 400 for my big giveaway!! I was sitting out on my deck the other day enjoying the birds at my bird feeders when I looked down at the mess of twigs scattered all over. I am constantly sweeping them off the deck. We have several huge trees that hang over our deck. I've always liked those twig wreaths and decided I might try making my very own. Click on each picture for a more closeup view for the detail. I used a heavy rusty wire shaped into a 4" circle. You could also use a old wire coat hanger. Gather up bunches of twigs that are around 6" or 7" inches long. Wrap with rusty wire very tightly. I like to add a few tiny thin twigs for that wispy look. I ended up making around 17 bunches for my wreath. Then start attaching the bunches one at a time with your rusty wire, laying them horizontal with the wire frame you made. Once you get one attached lay the next bunch slightly down a little on top of your first bunch. And so on and so forth. You then end up with a wreath that is about 11" across! You could make these any size.

Welcome your guests with a baby bib door hanger. Letters were printed using a word processing program, cut out and attached to the bibs with tape. A long ribbon hung from the hanger provided a place to pin the bibs. This cute welcome banner could be taken apart and used by the new mom or kept and hung on the door later as a "Baby is Here" announcement. Baby's wardrobe includes lots of diapers. The diaper cake included baby supplies, toys and wooden letters spelling out baby's name. Wooden letters from the craft store were covered with scrapbook paper and glued on wooden skewers. Later mom took the letters off the sticks and made a name plaque for baby's door. The punch bowl was disguised in a galvanized bucket. Add a washboard, doll clothes and styrofoam bubbles. Onesie cookies! One of the proud aunts started collection holiday bibs and sleepers as soon as she knew baby was on the way. Hanging on a ribbon, they made great wall decorations at the shower. Baby wore everyone in his first fabulous year. Thanks to an amazing great-grandma, one of Grandpas outfits complete with a picture of Grandpa wearing it, were displayed at the shower. A fleece blanket added color to the table. The plates and napkins were placed in a mini laundry basket that mom used to hold baby's toys. Gotta have desert! Oreo truffles, cream cheese filled cupcakes and onesie cookies!

Today's Tool Time is about using a laundry drying rack for sewing and quilting! We have a few folding drying racks in our house, because most of my husband's pant and shirts have to be lined dried. I use the large racks for clothing, but wanted to share an idea for the smaller racks on the table or hanging on the door to organize fabric storage when sewing a project. Here's the small drying rack on the end of my cutting table... Small in size, but big in function...come on in and see more! These small racks are perfect for your sewing and craft rooms for so many reasons, but the best reason is to organize and keep the fabric you are using for "one" project all in one place. It will fit any where, but keep it close for easy access. (side note...don't be fooled by the nice clean room in this picture. I took pictures for a post I'm doing on my sewing room and this was right after the clean up...I have the true messy pictures for that post...lol) When you are quilting or cutting multiple fabrics for projects the PILES and PILES of fabric can build up everywhere. You know those piles I'm talking about. The ones where you can lose your scissors, eyeglasses and the pattern you're sewing with. Hanging your nicely iron fabric on this rack, not only keeps it wrinkle free, it keeps it organized so you can see it easily and grab the fabric when you need it. It's thin and doesn't take up much space either. Mine has 2 elastics on it so the latch bars won't pop off easily. Just unhooks and folds down. Very thin for easy storage when you're not using it. The second place to use it is hanging from the door in your sewing space. This door is an exterior door in my sewing room, so the normal over the door hooks won't work. An outside door is wider than an interior door. So I used 2 wreath hangers! They're clear so you can barely see them. The big hook for the wreath easily holds the rod from the rack One hanger for each side. Hanging the rack on the door is the perfect place to hang fabric that you are working with, especially if you don't have a designated crafting room. You can hang this on any door in the room you are working in and it gives you so much more workable space. The rack... keeps fabric wrinkle free clean easy to find and not in piles also frees up space on your table...more room to actually work I did a post years ago on using the large rack when cutting strips of fabric for strip piecing. The large racks are great for more fabric and bigger projects. Thanks for stopping by. I hope this works in your space! Take care, ~Karen~
Here's how to hang a wreath without making holes in the door, according to experts. You can use velcro strips, hooks, suction cups, ribbon, and more to adorn your door with these stately pieces.
Upgrade your front door and deliver a statement this festive season
Happy Winter Solstice! I love these Eucalyptus and Orange wreaths I made. Every time I walk by them the smell is wonderful. I love that they are festive, yet not overly so. Also, easy to make. Learn how to bend wire coat hangers into wreath forms, dry oranges, assemble your wreaths, and make mini wreaths as well; What You'll Need; Eucalyptus Oranges Wire Wire Coat Hangers Hammer What To Do; To Shape the Wreath Forms; Using your hands bend the wire coat hanger out of it's triangle shape. Bend it until it is more like a lumpy circle. Use the hammer to bang it in a circle. Use the hammer to smooth out the edges. It does not have to be perfect! The imperfections make it unique. To Dry the Oranges; Slice your oranges into about 1/8-1/4 inch thickness. Dehydrate in your dehydrator at 135° F for 4-12 hours. Or in your oven at it's lowest setting. How to tell when they are done? The oranges will no longer feel sticky or tacky. To Make the Wreaths; Using 2 inch strands of wire, attach sprigs of Eucalyptus to the form. Layer on more and more Eucalyptus until desired fullness is achieved. I like to leave a spot of wire bare, but you can cover as much as you want. Play around with thickness and direction of the Eucalyptus. Play around with the placement of the oranges. When you are pleased with the orange placement secure them down. Use two, one inch sections of wire per orange. Pierce the oranges and wrap the wire around the base. For Mini Eucalyptus Wreaths; To make the base, take a long piece of wire, and wrap it around itself, creating a circle. Using smaller pieces of Eucalyptus, attach them to the base with one inch sections of wire. Layer on and play around with thickness and placement.
Don't throw out your leftover egg cartons! Your kids can transform them into homemade decorations, games, and more. They'll learn valuable lessons about recycling, exercise their creativity, and gain fine motor skills.
These wood wreaths are unique and hand made. The trees are picked and each one cut into small slices. The colors and shapes are slightly different on each wreath and are a beautiful addition to your decor. The rustic charm of the natural wood compliments rustic farmhouse, cabin, or add a touch of nature to modern decor. These wreaths can be hung outside on your door or use inside to decorate a wall or mantle. Each heart is approx 18-20” wide but will vary slightly with wood slice sizes and because each are hand made. Any questions please feel free to contact us for custom sizes and shapes.
