Our A2 and A1 posters are on 260gsm satin coated paper and sent in a similar durable tube. Please note that watermarks do not appear on the actual prints. These posters are meant to be affordable reproductions of vintage posters that are rare and hard to acquire elsewhere. We endeavour to digitally restore our images to the best of our ability, but please remember that some of these images are over 100 years old and will show signs of ageing and have the odd crease. Our posters look great on the wall but may not stand up to a thorough examination. I fully admit the small print may be blurred and slight pixelation may occur on certain prints. These are fun items, not works of art. This particular image has been enlarged from a smaller digital image. We have restored the image to the best of our abilities, using the best technology we have available. This may well still result in some pixelation and buyers should not expect a 100% crisp image. All images will have a white border as this is neccessary in order for the print to be in proportion. There may be instances where small print is illegible, or there may be some blurring or pixelation on certain prints. PLEASE NOTE that they are not fine art prints, or highly detailed works of art. Because of the age of some of our posters, a few small imperfections may be reproduced. These should be visible by looking at the larger images within this listing. Some prints may have marks or creases as a result of this. Paper can often degrades with time, and sometimes an image reproduced from the original that may reflect this.IMPORTANT ROYAL MAIL TRACKING The vast majority of our items are sent via Royal Mail and purchased through Etsy Postage. A tracking number is automatically added to your order details. We have had numerous complaints that Postmen are not leaving cards when customers are not in. This now seems to be the norm. It is the customers responsibility to check the tracking and see if an item needs collection or redelivering. These items are generally returned to us after a month after which we will invoice you again to reship the item. If you're item has not arrived after the stated delivery time, check the tracking information. Please note that items sent 2nd class, will only show delivery information once delivery has been attempted. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS OUTSIDE OF THE UK Please note that we now have orders printed and sent from the customers country of residence wherever possible. Items were taking three to four weeks to be delivered by the Royal Mail, with items being delayed at customs, especially in the USA. We can now get items to customers throughout the world within 7 to 10 days. This has resulted in us having to raise our prices for orders placed outside of the UK, however, with the saving made in postage, items are generally £5 or more cheaper to the customer. We hope you agree that this is better off for all parties and that you will pay less overall and get your items quicker.

This print is of an original hand drawn artwork of mine which is inspired by one of my favourite soul and blues voices, "The Sheffield Screamer" Joe Cocker. When drawing this piece I spent a lot of time on the composition, the style and the overall look of the drawing. Focusing on the late 1960's Woodstock era of Cocker's Career I depicted the musician fresh from his up and coming fame which established him as an original force of soulful singing. After putting in much effort time and details the finished piece highlights Cocker in a way that encapsulates every aspect of him. The original piece was drawn using a variety of Indian inks which gave me the capability to add in detailed and really fine line work in my drawing to ensure every fine line of hair, shading and texturing were included. This would make a great gift for any Cocker fan, and Woodstock fan ( good for framing!) , as one myself I found it difficult to find any artworks of this musician and many other musicians that presented a full figured from , encompassing a full setting, microphones and an original unique art style of look. This A4 print would be safely posted to you with greatest care and of course once purchased the actual print will not have the protective water mark on it. This print will be printed crisp clean high quality in 170gsm silk. The silk finish means this paper is ideal for high quality images and files such as photos. The print will be safely packaged in a hard case envelope for protection. If you like this piece please keep returning to my shop as I have a lot more musician artworks on the way ! new uploads on a weekly basis! Also to keep updated for new musician artworks for sale and to look at my other works which includes drawings, animations, model making etc please check out and follow my INSTAGRAM PAGE @hamilton_art_animation I am an animation student and any support would be much appreciated! With classic albums by Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Van Morrison, Donovan and more, we list the ten greatest folk albums of the 1960s.
This week we’re talking about recipes that define a decade, starting with the 1960s. Made more popular in the last few years from Mad Men, the recipes of the 60s are defined by strange chicken dishes, the continued domination of Jell-O and other fluff desserts, cocktail party appetizers like onion dip (seen above), and of course anything Julia Child. Some of these recipes remain relevant in recent decades, but they will always have a strong history in the 60s.
Do your students need a review over Vietnam and the 1960s? Do you want to review in a fun way and not throw another worksheet at them? Swat the Star is the answer! This is a fun way to review for your test or for your end of the year exam. Students "swat" the answer (using cheap fly swatters) - for a team competition. Topics covered are listed below. I've included a blank star in case you want to add your own topics. To play this game you will need 2 different colors of fly swatters. Simply print these stars out and laminate them (or use sheet protectors) and tape them on your wall. One member of each team will be "up" to answer a question that you ask orally. The first to swat the answer wins a point for their team. I've included a set of questions to ask, but of course, you can ask your own! Mine are just a starting point! If you don't need all these terms, simply leave them out. This product is based on the Texas TEKS. Easy prep! Tons of fun competition. Topics covered: Pentagon Papers Vietnamization Tet Offensive Viet Cong Agent Orange Gulf of Tonkin Resolution War Powers Act Lyndon B. Johnson Richard Nixon Kent State Massacre Ho Chi Minh Trail Fall of Saigon Silent Majority Credibility Gap Roy Benavidez 26th Amendment Domino Theory Tinker v.
