A beautiful collectable gift edition celebrating the 30 year anniversary of the ultimate cult feminist classic Within every woman, there lies a powerful force of energy, creativity and self-knowing: their wild woman. For centuries, she has been repressed by a male-orientated value system that trivialises her emotions. Until now. With a combination of time-honoured stories, myths, fairy tales and casework, this is the feminist book loved by over 2 million women, that will set you on a beautiful path to unleashing your inner wild. 'Everyone should read this book' Maya Angelou 'Estés points to storytelling, our ancient narratives, as a way for women to reconnect to the Wild Woman all women have within themselves, but have lost' Emma Watson
Women Who Run With The Wolves isn’t just a book, it’s food for the female soul.
It's a book that has captivated millions of women over the last several decades, but what is so special about "Women Who Run With the Wolves?"
Original woodcut artist proofs for the book "Women Who Run with the Wolves." They are hand-printed from the original block I used on the original book cover. I discovered them while cleaning my attic. I had completely forgotten about them but they are great prints, even though they are not numbered. Each print is titled, hand-signed, with A/P (artist proof) in the left lower corner. They have hand-deckled edges and are hand-embossed. The image size is 6.25" tall by 5" wide. Sheet size is generally 9" x 7" (some have slightly larger sheet sizes). Some might have minor imperfections (like slightly non-uniform borders or slight stippling in the darks) but nothing major. I'm offering them at a discount from the uniform, numbered, $195 edition of 30.

This print was the cover for the New York Times best-selling book Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
There’s a Wild Woman inside of you and she wants to chortle out loud, run naked through the forest, and dance with the wolves. She wants to be free and brave, she wants to create with her bare hands, get dirty and sweaty while making a life of her own. She’s your strength when the world is trying to break your spirit.
Sometimes, we feel lost… as if we don’t know what we’re doing with our lives. Sometimes, we forget the connection to soul that is always there, patiently waiting for our attention. Sometimes, we lose the thread of how to come back to ourselves after taking care of everyone else. Sometimes, we need the ancient voices… Read More »Women’s Journey

About the Book Translation of: Women who run with the wolves.
