Embroidery Jacket - Recycled Clothes - Hippie Clothes Women - Upcycled Clothing for Women - Medium Wow! There's just so much packed onto this jacket! This is a one-of-a-kind statement boho gypsy kind of jacket that would go fantastically with just about anything! I rescued this peach collarless jacket (label says Gap, 98% cotton, 2% lycra spandex) and decided to just do it up big! Where shall I start? The back of this jacket features this gorgeous vintage cotton crochet doily that I think looks way better on a jacket than on a table. I embroidered some green lace on the back waistband with a variety of embroidery floss pinks, giving it a rainbow kind of look. I added vintage hand embroidery on the left top back from a tablecloth I saved. I've embroidered lace down both sleeves. The bottom of the right sleeve features antique lace layered on top of rescued fabric. The bottom of the left sleeve features recycled ribbons lining more rescued fabric. The front of this jacket is just as stunning, if not more. The top right shoulder features more green lace as well as a vintage hand embroidery of a pair of lovebirds ringed with flowers (my favorite!). I've lined the front right side with vintage crochet trim. The left upper chest area features a rescued collar (green) layered over more repurposed fabrics, lace and ribbons. I sewed a flower onto that area, embroidered some sequins over it, and embroidered a gorgeous lace stem and gold leaf. There is ribbon and embroidery everywhere on this jacket! Also, it features four functional pockets. This jacket, like all of my other creations, is unique and completely made from upcycled materials. The ONLY "new" materials used were thread and embroidery floss. Measurements: Size M Bust: 40" Waist: 36.5" Back Length (from center back neck): 20.5" Shoulder to shoulder (about 2" down from center back neck): 16" Sleeve length (from top of shoulder): 24.75" Please wash by hand or dry clean. Lay flat to dry. For any additional information, please feel free to contact me.
