Hi! Well I can slowly feel the start of winter. It's been so nice having unseasonably warm weather, but today is bleak and raining - can you tell I dont like the winter too much ;) Any way, I'm sharing my card for this weeks sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. The twist, if you choose to use it is girlfriends. I changed the sketch slightly and after lots of fussing and trying to make it look 'right', I went with a clean & simple look. The my colour combo is wisteria wonder, crumb cake and pear pizazz. My image is coloured with markers and the sentiment is stamped in elegant eggplant, as I thought it need just a little bit more oomph. I made the butterfly by punching two butterflies in vellum and one butterfly on wisteria wonder card and layered them all together and finished with a jumbo pearl. Not too sure which friend this will go to - I'm sure it wont stay in my stash for too long :) We hope you are able to join us this week over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday, it's fantastic seeing all your amazing creations. Thanks for looking

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas& friendship and we're always there to help and support each other. So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address then I'll contact you with information on how to join our group.” You may have come here from Louise's Blog or if you are just starting here you can hop around until you get back here. Today I am showing you some cards that I have been colouring lately as I do love the sets where I can colour. On some I have used the new Blendablilities and others just my usual way of painting with brush and ink. The first 3 cards are using the Blended Bloom stamp. These next 2 cards are using Forever Florals The final 3 cards are made using the hostess set Bloom with Hope As you can see I get a little carried away when it comes to colouring flowers and make lots of cards. Its time now to hop on to Yvonne's Blog. Enjoy checking out everyone's creations using products from our lovely new catalogue. thanks for stopping by.

Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday night. It is almost the weekend. Oh! Yeah! I have a card for you - and an offer, too! More on the offer after the card! I have a quick card for you tonight. I played around with some of my new catty goodies. I wanted to make something really girly. Not something I do terribly often. But the Simply Soft is such a fabulous feminine set and I wanted to use it with the new ribbon and fabulous polka dot brads. This is another one of the cards for the Operation Write Home card drive,...

Hi there, Today's Friday Mashup challenge is a colour one, brought to us by Tara... Here's your Mashup Challenge: Create a card using the colors "Sahara Sand, Perfect Plum & Wisteria Wonder". Create a card and "Mail or Deliver it to Someone Special". Or Mash it Up and create a card with "Sahara Sand, Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder & Mail or Deliver it to someone special". I loved these colours together, and the soft and pretty combination I thought would work well for a sympathy card. These are cards that no one likes sending but are very needed, and I never seem to have them to hand so I thought I would make one. Although it's not going to be sent to anyone right now, I hope that when it is needed, it will bring comfort to someone... I used the pretty Field Flowers set, stamping them first in Wisteria Wonder then Perfect Plum. I cut them out and popped them over the stems image (stamped with Sahara Sand), then stamped the sentiment at the bottom (from Hopeful Thoughts). The dsp in the background is First Edition dsp that I brayered with Wisteria Wonder ink and stamped with the flourish from Creative Elements for a bit of added detail. The Sahara Sand panel was embossed with the woodgrain embossing folder and I added some Wisteria Wonder ribbon and an antique brad to finish off. Make sure you check out the lovely purpley creations of the rest of the design team! Thanks for stopping by... x Amy x
As Spring approaches slowly but surely, I gravitate to certain colors when making cards. Now that I think of it, I do that with every season! Because today is a sketch challenge at Create with Connie
Hello Friends Today I just had to show you the Thank You card that my customers will be receiving from me when they place an order during the month of January. Isn't it absolutely gorgeous? Shelli Gardner - the founder and CEO or Stampin' Up!, designed this card and showed Dawn Griffith how to make it, and I just had to CASe it since I loved it so much! The new Butterfly Basics stamp set does all the hard work in this card. Just some extra sponging and splattering for effect. Each of the cards is a bit different. And each of them is gorgeous. What do you think? Are you loving it too? Remember - place an order with me during the month of January and you'll receive one of these too!! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Dynamic Duos is celebrating their 1st anniversary! In honor of this big event, they have invited us to use any of their Past Colour Combos! Here's my choice. And the Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week is FLOWER POWER! This is a card that we did for a sponging class back when this challenge was called. I missed the deadline and didn't get it posted then. The layout was inspired by this card by Mary T. (jandjccc) posted at SCS. The flower image was first stamped in Whisper White and heat embossed with white. Wisteria Wonder was sponged around the embossed design. Then the flower was stamped again in Concord Crush. Such an easy technique with a powerful impact. All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted Card Recipe Stamps: Serene Silhouettes Ink: Whisper White Craft, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush Paper: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush Other: White EP, Scallop Trim Corner Punch (soon to be retired) Glad you could stop by! Enjoy!

I completely cased this card from Shelly Godby at Stamping Smiles, I loved the simplicity and elegance of the card. Loving this cool and super easy technique using painters tape, of all things! Normally you would use this stuff to mask off areas of your walls/house that you didn't want paint on, however today we'll be using it to apply paint (or ink in our case). Today's sympathy card sample from the Love and Sympathy stamp set was made by Kathie Rotti. Below is another example from Diane Giarrusso featuring the Spread the Joy stamp set. I'll post the supplies for both cards below. Tip: I found this technique works best with the new style "foam" ink pads from Stampin' Up, you can still do it with the older "felt" pads, just a slightly different result.
