It works really well for any grade level including colleges and universities! 14 pages of a variety of questions in cute formats to check for understanding. Questions such as "What I learned, what I'm confused about, what I need to know more about" These exit tickets are a really fun way to find out and students love filling them out because they are quick, insightful, and fun! Print them, laminate them and you can reuse them countless times for years to come. Editable content meaning you can edit the questions to fit your subject and content. This is the PERFECT last minute Sub Plan for Art Teachers and even Business/Marketing Teachers. This was my tried and true lesson plan each semester when I needed to be out for a couple days. The kids LOVED it and got really into it. I found that they typically need at least two days for this. (I was at the middle school level). I was surprised how much they took their time and didn't rush the work. I also turned it into a competition with prizes for the top 3 designs. I had staff vote on the shoes, and put them in the hallway on display for weeks after they were finished! You can customize this lesson and the questions to best fit your grade level, with this being a digital download to a Canva Template. You will receive the link in the form of a PDF at the time of purchase! Created by Sydney Haug - Former Middle School Art Teacher with experience in K-12 Art and Masters in Education.

Hey again! It’s Hayley here (@hayleyremdeart on Instagram), and today I want to give you some inspiration on the best spreads for keeping on top of school/university! Needing a way to keep myself organised while at university was actually the reason I began bullet journaling over 5 years ago. Therefore, I definitely understand the need to track classes, deadlines and everything that comes with studying. In this blog I’m going to show you the spreads I found the most useful! Everything You Need: Archer and Olive Journal – As always, it will be no surprise to you that this is my pick. The lovely and thick pages have no bleeding or ghosting, so you get a clean start for every project spread! Also, it means you can decorate the spread without worrying about it. Pencil – to carefully plan out your ideas so you can make sure your spread has everything you need. Pen – I love the Unipin fineliners and they’re affordable and have lots of nib sizes. Decorative Touch (optional) – This could be anything from stamps to acrylographs, or of course, nothing! I usually like to add a personal touch to my spreads so they’re more fun to use and look at. 1 | Class Info and Schedule The first spread I really recommend is a place to put all your module and schedule information. I don't know about you, but I always find it really annoying when I have to look through the module handbook for an email. class time or classroom. Therefore, this spread is great for having all the information you need in one place. I also like to have a visual schedule so I can plan around my classes and get used to the times. Finally, I have found an overview of the semester really helpful too. Here I include deadlines, special events and voluntary seminars. 2 | Deadlines and Attendance Tracker The next spread I couldn't live without is a deadline track that also doubles up as an attendance tracker. For this spread, I make a column for each module and a row for each week. I then add in all my deadlines in the box corresponding to each module. I personally also like to have a deadlines column on the end where I add in ALL my deadlines together so I can see where I may have to plan ahead if deadlines coincide. To make them stand out when I glance at the spread, I have colour coded each module and I highlight the deadlines in the corresponding colour. This doubles as an attendance tracker as I also fill it in with all my lectures, seminars, labs etc. that I have to attend each week. I then cross off the boxes with attended (or missed), notes written up and class reviewed. You can see my key on the image for spread one. I've found this really helpful to not only track my notes but also to encourage me to keep up my attendance. Overall, this is a big must have for every semester! 3 | Masterlist Another really useful spread for school/university is a masterlist. I like to make one every month in my monthly set ups, and in it I include I breakdown of everything I need to do that month. This includes small things like writing up class notes and reading, to a list of all the steps to finish an assessment. Something I have found really helps with the masterlist is splitting my tasks into groups. This makes it more organised for when I'm planning out my day and figuring out what task to do next. It also means I can add in non-school related lists on the same spread so I can see a complete overview of everything I need to do that month! 4 | Revision Schedule/Tracker It's not school without exams. I've done a lot of revision schedules in my time, but this layout was one I found particularly useful. For this spread it actually made sense to position the notebook vertically, as I needed more rows than columns. I made a column for each module I needed to revise for, and then I made each row all the days leading up to each exam. Then for each module I made extra columns to break my revision up into sections. For example, for Quantitative Research Methods I wanted to read through the lecture, make note cards consolidating the main information from my lectures in a smaller format, read through the corresponding chapters from the assigned book, and finally complete the revision and supplement questions. I then ticked these off as I completed each task. Overall this spread was super useful for planning out my revision schedule, and also making sure I took breaks and stuck to my plan. 5 | Time Blocking A spread that really helped me day to day while at university, was a time blocking spread. This was particularly useful when learning my schedule and how to work around it. To make this spread I created sections each day from 10am (my earliest class) to 9pm (the latest I ideally wanted to work until). After filling in my classes, I was then able to see where I could allocate time for other things I need to do each week. It was also good on days where I was studying or working to fill the times I spent on each task to get a good idea of how long things like reviewing lectures and reading would take for blocking in enough time in the future. Overall I found time blocking really useful while at university. So much so I created a blog on all the benefits of time blocking! See that blog here. 6 | Dedicated Dissertation/Project Tracker Last up, another thing I found extremely helpful were dedicated spreads for big projects and assignments. Like my masterlist, here I write down each small step I need to take to complete an assignment. In this photo, the project I was tracking was my final research project. Seeing all the tasks and the progress in one place was extremely helpful for keeping on track with my progress. This spread works as a running to do list. That means I put a small circle on the day I wanted to complete each task. If I completed it that day, I coloured in the circle and made a line to the task to cross it off. If I didn't complete the task on the day I had planned, I made a new circle on the day it was completed and crossed off from there. For this reason I would only plan 4-5 tasks at a time in case some took longer than others so it didn't throw my whole schedule off. Overall no matter the layout, having a place just for tracking your progress on big assessments and projects is definitely a great idea! Video Finally, see a quick video of me creating all these spreads here: Hopefully I’ve given you some tips and inspired you to create spreads to track your school, university or college courses in your bullet journal! If you have, I would love to see any spreads you make, so tag me on Instagram (@hayleyremdeart) and use #hayleyremdeinspired to get the chance to get your recreation featured in my stories!

This packet was designed to help often neglected high school students understand how to research and apply to four-year colleges. By directing readers to useful websites and providing easy-to-use worksheets, it helps students stay organized for college applications, and it encourages them to self-reflect and judge their interests throughout the entire process -- in contrast to simply saying which forms need to go where, or having students simply tick off boxes. The packet is oriented towards Internet users, and includes a brief and thorough guide to researching scholarships. An excellent resource for over-worked guidance counselors and parents to help students get serious with college (and the applications). Preview: Packet Methodology 2, Thinking About College Checklist, 'Understanding Yourself' section, and 'Possible Careers & Related Majors' sheet (for Packet Methodology 1).

If you’re printing at home, I recommend using cardstock or photopaper (not regular printing paper) for better results. More detailed information about printing is included in the Printing Guide. ★ Print Appearance May Vary The colors may appear slightly different in print than on your screen because of variations in monitors, ink, printing paper, and printer settings. *Please make sure your screen is as color accurate as possible before you decide to buy and use a professional printing service for the most accurate colors.* The same poster may look slightly different in each size ratio as the blank space around the design will be different in each. I take care to place the design in the most pleasing way possible for each size ratio. Please be aware that thick frames may obscure the edges of the print and hide parts of the design. I recommend using a thin frame for prints that don’t have a lot of blank space around the main design. ★ Size Guide 2:3 ratio can be printed in the following sizes: ○ 4 x 6 in (10.2 x 15.2 cm) ○ 8 x 12 in (20.3 x 30.5 cm) ○ 10 x 15 in (25.4 x 38.1 cm) ○ 12 x 18 in (30.5 x 45.7 cm) ○ 16 x 24 in (40.6 x 61 cm) ○ 20 x 30 in (50.8 x 76.2 cm) ○ 24 x 36 in (61 x 91.4 cm) 3:4 ratio can be printed in the following sizes: ○ 6 x 8 in (15.2 x 20.3 cm) ○ 9 x 12 in (22.9 x 30.5 cm) ○ 12 x 16 in (30.5 x 40.6 cm) ○ 15 x 20 in (38.1 x 50.8 cm) ○ 18 x 24 in (45.7 x 61 cm) ○ 24 x 32 in (61 x 81.3 cm) 4:5 ratio can be printed in the following sizes: ○ 8 x 10 in (20.3 x 25.4 cm) ○ 12 x 15 in (30.5 x 38.1 cm) ○ 16 x 20 in (40.6 x 50.8 cm) ○ 24 x 30 in (61 x 76.2 cm) 5:7 ratio can be printed in the following sizes: ○ 5 x 7 in (12.7 x 17.8 cm) ○ 10 x 14 in (25.4 x 35.6 cm) ○ 20 x 28 in (50.8 x 71.1 cm) 11:14 ratio can be printed in the following sizes: ○ 11 x 14 in (27.9 x 35.6 cm) ○ 22 x 28 in (55.9 x 71.1 cm) ISO can be printed in the following sizes: ○ A4: 8.3 x 11.7 in ( 21.0 x 29.7 cm) ○ A3: 11.7 x 16.5 in ( 29.7 x 42.0 cm) ○ A2: 16.5 x 23.4 in (42.0 x 59.4 cm) ○ A1: 23.4 x 33.1 in (59.4 x 84.1 cm) *Printing larger than the above sizes will result in blurry prints.* ★ Terms of Use This artwork is for personal use only. *Please don’t resell or redistribute this artwork in any way.* This includes: ○ sharing the digital files with others ○ selling the digital files ○ uploading the digital files where they can be downloaded by others ○ selling physical prints of the digital files ★ I hope this information helps answer your questions. I have been a middle school yearbook advisor for the past five years. I was in yearbook all through high school and even for a year in college. I generally create stuff for my students as we need it. If they need help with theme development I google it or create it. This year I had 23 new students. We were pretty much starting from scratch. So, I’ve been creating a lot of new materials. This end of quarter self review was created to help students see and reflect on the work they actually accomplished. This helps them to understand why they received the grade they did, if they earn a grade for the class, or why they aren’t being asked back to the club the following year. Please check out my other yearbook items. A veteran yearbook advisor might use this activity as a supplement to an existing problem with layout design. While a new advisor might see this as a starting point when one feels lost without a clear direction. I’ve been there. It’s hard to start something new. This activity includes the following: * The End of the Quarter student self review activity for your yearbook class or club! * A link to my Google doc to create a fully editable copy for your classroom. I hope you find this to be a useful resource for your middle school yearbook group or classroom!
