This webquest uses two different websites where students search for the answers to 17 questions about our nation's past presidents. Presidents Washington and Lincoln are the main focus, but others are included for interest. This entire webquest should not take longer than a class period, or can be used as a reading comprehension center focusing on informational text during reading rotations. It's fun and will help the students understand why we celebrate our nation's two most famous presidents. All answers are included. March is Women's History Month and these webquests (20 total) are designed to get students learning about these influential women and their roles in our history. You can have students complete multiple of these activities over time through centers, or you can have each student do one and do the extension activities to have them dig further for information about this month. Included with almost every biography webquest is a quote or two that they said, as well as a video that gives a brief synopsis of their lives that students can access via a QR code.
