Jealousy is a sting in your heart and soul. You want something that others have. You wish something that belongs to you accord your beliefs, but someone stole it from you. You wish to move someone from your spot because his place is not there; he is level under you. A positive person streams to reach the aim. When your head is full of plans and when your schedule is busy, you have no time to check other's lives. You will check what is important to you and connect with you. Recently a woman made a comment under my book even she did not read it. Her eyes stuck in my cover and title and she said that sounds like a horrible book. Personally, I would feel embarrassed to comment on something I did not read. It just showed the level of her intelligence and bad manners. And do you know when she commented? On Saturday, when people get rest from the week and have a relaxing time. Envious and jealous people often use a weekend to throw their daily frustrations. Some of us are having fun at weekends, others check social networks to provoke. If you are a lonely loser, you will use the weekend to make video calls, to troll, or insult, because nobody called you in real life so someone must pay for this. How jealousy affects you? This feeling is a thorn that stabs you to the heart. You compare yourself with others, even try to copy them, hoping for a day when you will win. The extreme cases will wish someone to get hurt or even die because your object is an obstacle that must be removed. The quote of jealous people is:" If I can't make success, nobody else will." Imagine when your ex-boyfriend finds someone new. If you broke up painfully, you will not be happy to see him with another girl. A mature person will cross over it. This is a pastime. A jealous person will spend days asking for feedback, revenge, or at least a small satisfaction because your relationship failed. Why we should pity jealous people? Jealousy will slow down your progress. Jealousy will steal your time. Jealousy will give points to your rivals, they know you are thinking about them. What is a cure for jealousy? Hard work. When you have a busy schedule, it focuses on this. Success. Celebrating your success will raise your self-esteem. Supportive people around you. You know that someone is happy because you are progressing. Beloved partner. If your partner holds your side, you have no reason to be jealous. The point of jealousy is the fact that you want something that others have, but you are suffering because you can't get it. That is why jealousy is a weakness because it turns you into a fragile target.

Changing nouns from singular to plural can sometimes be tricky for the elementary student. This free, printable Plural Rules Poster will be a big help in reminding your child of all the plural rules! Its graphics are cute, and it's neatly laid out.
Life has often been compared to a game. We are never told the rules, unfortunately, nor given any instructions about how to play. We simply begin at “Go” and make our way around the board, hoping we play it right. We don’t exactly know the objective of playing, nor what it means to actually win. If Life Is A Game…These Are the Rules is all about learning what Ten Rules for Being Human is all about. These are the guidelines to playing the game we call life, but they are also much more than that. These rules will provide you with a basic spiritual primer for what it means to be a human. They are universal truths that everyone inherently knows but has forgotten somewhere along the way. They form the foundation of how we can live a fulfilling, meaningful life.

I was grew up in Los Angeles, not too far from what was once Immaculate Heart College (IHC). Perhaps one of the biggest legacies of IHC is Sister Mary Corita, better known to many as Corita Kent, artist-activist and chairperson of the IHC art department from 1951-1968. Do you know about Corita Kent? In her own […]

Childhood, a time when we’re taken care of as fragile and vulnerable people is quite different than adulthood. As adults, we begin to follow a new set of rules and understand over time that we’re interesting to ourselves only. There’s no one to push us toward success, give us their shoulder to cry on, or praise us when we’ve done something good. And ultimately, there are always going to be people who are smarter, better, and more attractive than us.

I got the idea for this activity here. I'm starting polynomial functions in my pre-cal classes tomorrow and will be using this activity. End Behavior Of Polynomial Functions Sorting Activity I'll start with a basic introduction to vocabulary (degree, leading coefficient), then I'm going to give each group a copy of the first page to cut out and sort based on the degree and leading coefficient. We'll then compare the end behavior of the graphs in each group to come up with the "rules" for polynomial end behavior. To make sure everyone gets it, I'll have them stand up and use their arms to show me the end behavior of some of the equations shown on the second page. I've also included the exit ticket I'll use to assess them for understanding. The last page is something they can cut out and put in their "Stuff You Must Know" folder (my current version of an INB that will be upgraded to a full on INB next year). Update: I'm also including my End Behavior Foldable for my INB
