Details During World War II, maps were often sewn in to the lining of the A-2 flight jackets in case the pilots were shot down over enemy territory. This is a reproduction of the historical WWII flight jackets, originally issued in 1931 and then worn by the allied pilots who flew perilous missions over wartime terrain, and the lining features a re-creation of the survival maps of southern France. A surface of vintage French lamb leather adds to the authenticity. Features include some of the customizations that pilots preferred, such as the wind flap, front zipper with storm flap, hidden snap-down collar points, knit cuffs and waistband, and flap-top and side-entry pockets. 2.34 kgs 5.2 lbs Garment Measurements Select Size M L 69.85 cm Length (from high-point shoulder) x 134.62 cm Bust/chest x 92.71 cm Sleeve (center neck to cuff) 27.5" Length (from high-point shoulder) x 53" Bust/chest x 37" Sleeve (center neck to cuff) 68.6 cm Length (from high-point shoulder) x 127 cm Bust/chest x 90.8 cm Sleeve (center neck to cuff) 27" Length (from high-point shoulder) x 50" Bust/chest x 36" Sleeve (center neck to cuff) View size chart Metric US/Imperial Leather; polyester lining Features a zipper closure Genuine leather may naturally show subtle marks, scratches or wrinkles Professional leather clean only Made in China Ships fast from USA Product ID: 301741
