Want to be sure students remember the NGSS concepts they learn? 5th Grade NGSS Science Spiral Review includes 32 weeks of review. Each Spiral Review has four questions aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards. Print the PDF or assign the included Google Slides. Eight topics are visited 16 times each over the 32 weeks. This, along with vocabulary review, helps keep the content fresh. About the Spiral Review The early weeks are focused on reviewing skills and content from earlier grades. Because students’ background knowledge varies, I included information, defined vocabulary, and examples. As the weeks go on, less background information is provided, and the rigor of the questions increases to ensure students fully understand the 5th grade NGSS standards. 8 Topics Properties of Matter Earth's Spheres Energy & Matter in Ecosystems Earth's Water & Resources Physical & Chemical Changes to Matter Space Plants Process Skills Format Ideas Booklet Use a spiral binding machine to make a booklet for the whole year. Students can look back at previous questions for assistance. Weekly Printing Print the 4 questions on one page front and back. Folder Use a hole puncher on the pages. Add the new page to the folder throughout the year. Google Classroom These pages are available in Google Slides. _______________________________ Teachers Love It! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great way to build on science concepts and skills throughout the year. Helps with student development of vocabulary, too! - Rhory M. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ GREAT spiral review. The pages themselves include the information students need to complete the activities so you can begin using them right away without worrying about which topics you've gotten to already and which you haven't. I am very happy with this resource. - Nicole S. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is exactly what I was looking for! I started to create my own and thought to check TPT first. We use this every day and I'm excited to see how well students retain information this year. I love that I can copy this back to back and use one per week. Thank you for creating this! - Melody M. _______________________________ Product Notes 1. Please check out the preview to make sure this resource fits your needs. 2. This file is not editable. 3.
