Heat a non-stick tava, grease your hands with ghee. Place a portion of the dough on the tava (griddle) and pat it evenly with greased fingers to form a 100 mm. (4”) diameter circle. Be gentle when you are patting it to prevent cracks in your upvaas thalipeeth. You will not be able to roll the dough as it would be too sticky to be rolled out. You can either pat it on the tava directly or pat it between 2 thick plastic sheets and then place it onto the tava.
