In this day and age, everyone has access to the proverbial soapbox-in just a few clicks from our social media accounts, we can make our voices heard. But how do we use our voice? Is it for negativity and selfishness, or do we use our voice for inspiration and hope? What if God was using our voice as a gift? Up on My Soapbox is one man's collection of inspirational words of wisdom from his own soapbox. Although author Darryl C. Wilson Sr. once used his soapbox for his own purposes, he rediscovered his faith and focused his observations back on what matters-his relationship with God. Reaching out to fellow prodigal children returning to God, Darryl shares heartfelt, encouraging, and sometimes humorous anecdotes and observations about the finding God in the everyday. We never walk alone, and even when it seems like we have forgotten about God, he is always there with us. If you have drifted from God, or if you cannot seem to find him out there in the darkness of the world, then Up on My Soapbox can help you see how God is still there for you with the gift of his unconditional love.
Even though we don't have kids yet, I'm really hoping to homeschool them. We are many reasons for wanting to homeschool. See them here!
Have you heard about the amazing benefits to drinking raw milk? Why do I drink raw milk? Let me get up on my soapbox and tell you.
If you are receiving this mailing again....I apologize. I have been having problems with the e-mail subscription service that should be resolved shortly. Excuse me a moment while I hop up on my soapbox…. ….and preach to myself. Self….next time the valentines are on sale at Wal-Mart for 75% off…. .....you don’t need 20 of them. Seriously....self. Under no circumstances are you to rationalize the purchase by saying….we could use these as crafts or maybe we could donate extra to the class next year or maybe we could use extra stickers or any of the million and one other reasons you muttered to yourself..... as you added boxes and boxes and boxes of them to the cart. Ditto for the boxes from the 75% off aisle at Hobby Lobby. Ditto for the $5.00 chairs you bought at the auction. For the rest of the post and a fun linky party.... CLICK HERE

Welcome to day 2 of the countdown for the November MFT Release. Today I have a card using the new set called You're Super. It features an adorable super girl and all the sentiments and details to go along. To create this card, I stamped the building silhouette's twice in black ink and then each time, stamped them off in the background to create the distant skyline. Next. I stamped and colored super girl to stand out front. I popped her up with some foam tape and then added this skyline panel to the front of the card base on fun foam. The bottom edge of the card is Cement Gray. I added the speech bubbles to the top of the card with the sentiments included in the You're Super stamp set. To add a little something fun to the inside, I used the pop up element die and added the "POW". I love how it pops up when you open the card. The MFT Blog will have lots more sneak peeks of this months release. Click HERE to check it out! Thanks so much for stopping in today! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Supply List:
