Troyan red clay ceramics are considered the “true” Bulgarian pottery. The colorful and intricate mandala designs are linked to the peacocks of the court of the Ottoman empire. The piece measures 8 1/2" in diameter and stands 1 3/8" tall. Traditional red clay background with yellow, black, and tan feathering complete the intricate design.
