Triple floating diamond card tutorial. Hey everyone today I am sharing what I think is a different kind of fold. I have searched and cannot find one exactly the same. I call this a triple floating diamond card easy to, make hard to photograph ! The cards main feature of this card is the three diamond panels perfect for elaborate decoration. Those who are sharp eyed card makers will see this is inspired by the diamond easel card.. I doubled it up and created a different fold. \the Diamonds move and you can display the card several ways I came up with four different senarios depending how you stand it making this card super versatile. I kept the card base plain so all the focus is on the stunning florals. These are created using Sketched flowers from the Floral Script collection by Lou Collins you can find the set used via this link https://tidd.ly/3gQOPaZ. I stamped using Archival ink on water colour paper and then painted the images. Once dry I cut them out but there are co-ordinating dies for this stamp here https://tidd.ly/3HO0MK1 for those who don't enjoy fussy cutting. I think you will agree these are simply stunning. I have a full real time tutorial with instructions and measurements here so you can learn this card too. I do hope you will give it a try and add this fancy fold to your collection of cards you can make easily at home. Happy crafting xx Amanda

There's a new challenge up at Inkspirational - and the challenge is: Now I have a few folds that I love to make - but since this is a challenge - I went to Pinterest to find a fold I haven't done before. And I found this Triple Floating Diamond fold designed by Lisa. Now, I cannot write out all of the instructions but you will find everything you need to know on the two links below if you are interested. Here's a link to Lisa's blog where you can see 3 designs for the card and her Youtube tutorial on putting it together. Here is a link to the Google Document list of what size pieces of card stock and patterned paper to cut. And here is the Triple Floating Diamond Fold Birthday card that I made. Since I put the die cut mushroom up on foam dots on the middle diamond, I could slip the corner of the outside diamonds behind the mushroom which helps hold it open for display. Here's a view looking down into the fold. Here's the front opened up and flattened. Here's the front with the outside diamonds flipped over. Here's the back where I've put panels to write a note to the receiver. Here it is folded up for mailing - it is a bit thick and I think will probably take two first class stamps to mail - I'll bring it to the post office to find out when I do mail it. It will fit into a regular A2 envelope. Looking down into it folded up. All of the patterned paper and the die cut mushrooms are from the Mushroom Medley Paper Die Duo set from Divinity Designs. Today's tutorial is: A Mini Triple Diamond Floating Card PRODUCTS: Welcome Baby Die Large Birdhouse Die Baby Shoe Die Baby Onesie Die Scalloped Squares Die Say It With Flowers Paper Pack PAPER CUTS & SCORING White Card Stock: 2 Base 7inches x 3 1/2 inches Fold in half and score either side of the centre 1 6/8 inch and mark down 1 6/8 eack side. 3 x 2 Size Scalloped Square Die 3 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Squares 2 x Small White Flowers Large Flower Onesie Frill Shoe Sole Shoe Front Green Card Stock: 3 x 2 2/8 x 2 2/8 Squares Cut Pink Card Stock: Baby Die Cut 2 x Large Flower Black Card Stock: Baby Die Cut Shoelaces Onesie Frill Die Cut Small Flower Say It With Flowers Paper Pack : 4 x 3 3/8 x 1 5/8 Long Pattern with Squiggles Onesie Small Roses Pattern Front Baby Shoe Small Roses Pattern Baby Shoe Small Roses Pattern 1. Base White Card Scored and Fold as seen. Cut the Points out both sides. 2. Like this. Your 3 White Squares 4 Pieces of Patterned Paper. 3. I then taped the Patterned Paper on the 2 Bases. 4. I then taped one of the Squares on each Base on opposite ends 5. I folded the 2 empty points together like this and I then taped the last Square on them. 6. So it now looks like this.
