From a funny car sign to a beautiful candy floss sky, life is filled with wonderful and funny things. 5 things that caught my eye recently.
Emotion Works was developed by Claire Murray in Edinburgh and about 4 years ago I came across it on the internet. The first thing that caught my eye was the visual cogs. Thinking that this would be good for the pupils with autism that we support at Reachout ASC, we jumped on a train and […]
The caves of Tumblr are deep. Often the users will strike gold on an idea that will rock your world and forever change the way you think. Here they show that there is more than what meets the eye to many of our beloved Disney folk.
I saw this on a few sites and Facebook posts and thought it was a neat idea. Research says it takes 3-5 positives to wipe out one negative and I can believe it. So let’s start the year out ri…

Hey there! I'm running behind this morning so this is gonna be a speedy post. I'm playing along in the MFT Wednesday Sketch challenge 217 and I used this sweet I Pick You Pure Innocence for my card. Because she is holding that lovely bouquet of flowers, I chose to pair her up with the Garden Party papers from Pebbles. Cutting those pretty papers into the banners from the sketch was a breeze since I used the stitched flag dies from MFT as well. Quick and cute, nuthin' wrong with that. ;) Alrighty, I've really got to get moving. Later gators! Supply list: cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It paper- Pebbles (Garden Party) stamps- My Favorite Things (Pure Innocence I Pick You) ink- Memento tuxedo black My Favorite Things stitched flag dies Li'l Inker stitched rectangle die Doodlebug and Studio Calico sequins Copic markers: skin- E000, E00, E11, R00, R20 hair- E21, E34, E57, E59 clothes/flowers- Y11, Y21, Y17, Y26, E81, 0, YG03, YG17, YG95, YG00, B12, B14, B18, E57, E59

Hey there! So yesterday we introduced the Lazy Days of Summer digi collection at Sweet November Stamps and as part of the fun I did a Live coloring of cute Arden reading with her kitty. The image captures her resting beneath a large tree and to further extend out the scene I added the Gnome Home Background digi off in the distance. Now it looks like Arden is only a stones throw from her happy home, enjoying a bit of peace and quiet during a long summer afternoon. As always, I so enjoyed spending a couple hours coloring in the company of my fellow crafters and I'm really pleased with how all of their color suggestions came together on this sweet card. :) Have a wonderful day! Supply list: cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It digital stamps- Sweet November Stamps (Lazy Days of Summer Arden and Gnome Home Background) stamps- Papertrey Ink (sentiment) ink- Versafine onyx black My Favorite Things A2 stitched rectangle stax set 2 Sharpie extra fine white pen Copic markers: sorry, I didn't keep a list but you can see the colors used here
