Easy Pose Warm Up Flow is a sitting mini yoga flow with the primary focus on opening the upper back with the gentle movements of the arms and shoulders. This mini flow can be included as a warm-up, or a cooling down practices based on the theme of the yoga session. Although this seated flow has in all 12 movements that is coordinated with each breath, yet the main poses in this flow have the four movements of the spine, like: Lateral/Side Bend: Easy Pose Variation Side Bend (Sukhasana Variation Side Bend). Twist: Revolved Easy Pose Variation Hand On Floor (Parivrtta Sukhasana Variation Hand On Floor). Backbend: Easy Pose Bound Hands (Sukhasana Baddha Hasta). Forward bend: Easy Pose Elbows On Floor (Sukhasana Elbows On Floor). Together when these poses are done, the added poses in between them are the transition poses that help complete the flow. This gentle flow helps open the shoulders, chest, upper back, lower back, and arms, impacting the entire torso, with the support of the hips firmly grounded while being stable and strong. Since this is a beginner level practice, it can help in energizing the body while moving between the poses coordinating with the breath. It can help new students learn the concept of breath-body coordination, gradually improving the awareness to move further into other flows like Easy Pose Variation Side Bend Hand On Knee Flow or Circle Of Joy, which are also seated mini flows that focus on breath awareness with the movement of the arms. Included before the pranayama practices, this warm up flow can help in understanding the concepts of Sama Vritti (Square Breathing) and which also ensures the lungs are active and efficient. This flow teaches students the complete breath cycle while the spine moves in different directions, and this very same breathing concept is practiced in all yoga poses, with full awareness. Easy Pose Warm Up Flow helps boost energy in the body and hence can be included in flow yoga sequences. Easy Pose Warm Up Flow is considered a warm-up yoga pose to prepare the body for more intense yoga poses / yoga flows.
