Discover the signs that Freyja is calling you and explore the various ways in which you can learn about and connect with the Norse goddess.
Freyja norse goddess amulet, made from polished cattle horn, engraved and reddened bindrune FREYJA, two of Freyja's cats, ring made from brass, blue glass bead Made by hand in single productions – is far more powerful and magical. Norse, Asatru, Germanic, Viking jewelry and art . You can feel the breath of the ancestors. All the items shown have been handcrafted by me personally. So far I have only made them for close friends. I have long been interested in the history of our ancestors – the Germans and the Nordic peoples – which has influenced my work greatly. All items have been crafted from a single solid piece of wood each and the metal loops are selfmade too. I only use those kinds of wood that grow in the regions the old Germans and the Nordic peoples used to live in and in which they used to practice the rites of their ancient culture. Tropical wood could hardly ignite the magic of that culture – still, it must be you who gives the items their souls. I prefer hard wood like oak, ash, beech and walnut. My favourite still is oak – Thor’s own tree! Since all items are handcrafted and are not machine-made or even factory-made small anomalies in the wood's structure are natural and contribute to the uniqueness of the items. Sometimes small pieces mean hard work too – even more so than bigger ones! I need to be inspired to create my small pieces of popular art – and I hope this inspiration is reflected in their design. It is important for me: - local materials (wood, bone, horn, natural stones etc.) - local style (Germanic and Norse) - no mass- or series production, unique pieces - only handmade - self-designed or similar historical templates / examples The main intention is: You shall feel something while watching or wearing, good vibration and inspiration.
