Rabbit Beach, Italy Image Credit: italymag (dot) co (dot) uk The Southern coast of Italy has the small island of Lampedusa in Sicily. Pristine turquoise water and unspoiled natural white sand decorate this beach, which is accessible only by boat and is best to visit between May and September. 2. Grace Bay, Providenciales Image Credit: wherewhenhow (dot) com A part of the Turks and Caicos Islands, it has toughened hills, breathtaking ridges, scrubs and cactus foliage. Diving is a particular treat as there are endless coral reefs with aquatic life. The lustrous white sand and clear emerald waters are always welcoming. 3. The silica-rich sand doesn’t retain heat, making it comfortable for barefoot walking all day. It stretches for 7 km on Whitsunday Island. 4. It offers swimming and snorkelling in addition to the dolphin-viewing and turtle conservation project. 5. Bioluminescence from plankton and shooting stars are its natural beauties, along with seeing the Milky Way on a moonless night. The reefs are a definite to go snorkelling, while the Caribbean blue sky and mild sunlight are gentle for sunbathing and swimming. 6. Playa de las Catedrales, Spain Image Credit: centineladelsendero (dot) com Beautiful caves and limited urbanization make this a place to get away from the stress of everyday routines. The natural coastal cliff and rock formations give it the title “Catedrales” with multiple arches that are accessible in low tide alone. Situated on the Cantabric coast, it lies 10 kms away from Ribadeo in the Lugo province. 7. Lopes Mendes Beach, Brazil Image Credit: getintravel (dot) com In Ilha Grande, this beach is amazing with naturally occurring indentations along the coast that hug the shoreline with sapphire blue waters. The white sands are a peaceful walk, while there are also facilities for boating, hiking, and more. December to March is the ideal time to visit. 8. It’s breezy all through the day, and with extensive shade from a beach lined with trees, you can spot local fauna like colourful lizards and birds, among others. 10. Playa Paraiso Beach, Cuba Image Credit: outsideonline (dot) com In Cayo Largo are the expanses of ghostly white sand and surreal clear waters. The surf is so shallow that you can walk for a few hundred meters out into the ocean, all completely pure and blue. Sailing, pedal boats, snorkelling, and windsurfing can all be done free of cost at this beach, which is aptly named Paradise. Pack your trunks and sunscreen lotion, and head to these bountiful beaches for sandy, surfing, sunny sojourns all year long.
