This is a vintage mid century glazed pottery figural horse. This was produced in Florence by the Italian Sculptor Ugo Zaccagnini. This is done in the Chinese T'ang Dynasty style of a decorated war horse. The horse is in a majestic prancing pose with incredible features attached to a matching stand. The colors are in a fantastic rich goldenrod yellow and jade green with brown accents. This horse is in excellent vintage condition. This incredible piece is signed on the bottom (Z Italy) and is circa late 30's to late 50's. He looks amazing placed on top a large set of coffee gable books on a console, table or bookcase!
