Little cone incense burners in the shape of little ceramic houses made using the Raku firing technique. The Raku process makes each of them unique as I am never sure exactly how they are going to come out. Each comes with a little ceramic plate that fit exactly inside the house, protecting any surface from the hot burning incense and making it secure when the cone is burning. I also provide one cone to try it straight away. The incense cone burns inside the house and the smoke goes through the chimney. I tested each one to make sure that they work well. Little windows on the bottom draw enough air for the cone to burn well, and the chimney is wide enough to let the smoke though. The red and orange glazes are made with mixture of iron oxide and glaze stains. The green and turquoise are made with copper oxide, while the blue roof glaze is made with cobalt which gives it a hint of lavender blue, the dark blue glaze is me being carried away with the amount of cobalt. Each house is about 9cm high. The quoted price is for one house only
It looks like it's been plucked straight from the pages of a fairy tale

The friendly village of Adare is located in County Limerick, Ireland. This designated Heritage Town is an architectural wealth of scenic beauty. Before visiting the world-famous thatched cottages, we swung by the Augustinian Friary not far from the downtown area. This priory was founded in the early 14th century by the Earls of Kildare. It was the home of the Augustinian Order until they were driven out during the 15th century. The structure was repaired during the early part of the 19th century, and the building is regarded as an excellent example of a medieval Irish church. The building has
