You'll like this one, music and art fans! The drawing of the young woman on the cover is by Sydney Leff (1901-2005), who designed more than 1000 sheet music covers over his long career. The woman looks like the 'perfect' Flapper from 99 years ago! Imagine this piece framed, and hanging on the wall of your office, hallway, or bedroom! This is the music for "I Wanna Go Where You Go - Do What You Do, Then I'll Be Happy" with music by Cliff Friend, and the book and lyrics by Sidney Clare and Lew Brown. This piece measures approx. 9" x 12" in size, and was published by Irving Berlin, Inc. of New York. The color is very good on this piece - mainly orange, gray, black, and white. Very minor wear along edges and minor creasing (see photos). There is an very neat ink signature from Maude S. Langford, probably the original owner, on the cover. Overall the colors and images are great, and the back shows excerpts from Irving Berlin's masterpiece 'Always.' Priced to sell at just $15. If you don't want to frame it, it could be used for an art project, or even for its intended original purpose, playing music on the ukulele, with voice accompaniment! Free local pickup in Geneva, IL. If shipped, I will send the sheet music (protected in a clear acid-free sleeve, with a backing board in the mailer for rigidity) via USPS, with a tracking number. Thanks for looking!

Remember the song that started with, "I wanna go back to my little grass shack in Kealakekua, Hawaii" and ended with (sing it with me) "where the humuhumunukunukuapua'a go swimming by." If you grew up in Hawaii in the 70s (like me) you learned in elementary school music class, lyrics and ukulele chords. This piece brings back memories of those good ol' days. I did this as a collaboration with artist Kathleen Jaeger. Kathleen did the pen and ink drawings and I designed the origami version of the Hawaii state fish. The completed piece is ORIGIINAL ART, 9" x 12" and ready to frame.
