St. Teresa de Jesús “de los Andes” (1900-1920) virgin, Discalced Carmelite Nuns The young woman who is today glorified by the Church with the title of Saint, is a prophet of God for the men and women of today. By the example of her life, TERESA OF JESUS OF LOS ANDES shows us Christ’s Gospel […]
Bóg chciał, aby doświadczenie duchowe i droga do świętości św.

O longo dardo lhe mete Bem no coração... E várias vezes repete Esta operação! Arrancaram-lhe as entranhas Teresa sentia... Entre delícias tamanhas Que se desfazia... Não queria ver findar-se Tão imensa dor E sentia-se findar-se De gozo e de amor... E gemia docemente A sagrada amante Toda feita em fogo ardente Quase agonizante... Desde este glorioso dia Sempre, sempre a arder, Santa Teresa gemia: Ou sofrer ou morrer! E ainda hoje se vê chagado - Assim Deus o quis! O coração transpassado Da virgem feliz! O mãe, por tua bendita Transverberação A estes filhos carmelitas Fere o coração!
Two days before her death, she said to me once when we were alone: “My child, the hour of my death has come.”
