“Autumn Princess” Linen Dress XIII century style princess dress Whatever autumn brings – days, full of events, long walks through the woods adorned with gold, joyous festivities – a neat and comfortable outfit certainly comes of use to every princess. A fine linen dress is precisely the case – whether you intend to meet a prince or negotiate with a dragon – it is perfectly fitting to the most different occasions. The “Autumn princess” dress is a fantasy clothing inspired by medieval princess dresses from miniatures of XIII century. Back in those days draperies had just given way to tailored gowns, which were made to fit more tightly to the skin (often with use of lacing) and gave more prominence to the curves of the figure. Their simple but gracious beauty induced the creation of this fantasy princess dress. Silhouette, dress elements & fabric details Wide scoop neckline of the dress looks exquisite, yet not revealing, while the back lacing ensures that the garment fits snugly around the waist and makes size adjustments simple. Sleeves, which are also laced up and close-fitting, end with flared cuffs that reach the knuckles. The wide skirt, made by adding triangular godets to increase the hem, grants you a desired freedom of movement (because you never know with dragons). Simple elegance of the linen cloth is balanced with its deep color and enriched with an ornamental trim on the neck, hemline and cuffs. This princess dress is suited for everyday wear for a noble lady, but as it is not overburdened with decorous elements, it emphasizes, instead of suppressing, your natural beauty. Moreover, it provides you a wide space for experimenting with accessories and jewelry and will make an excellent part of your outfit for any reenactment medieval theme event. Made from natural linen flax, the dress is pleasant to touch, lightweight and easy-care, which, combined with the practical cutting style, makes it the perfect choice for diverse outdoor activities, horse riding and traveling, giving it the top place among the other larp costumes for sale. Important notes: The dress is available in several color schemes. If you choose the black color for the fabric, please do not forget to specify the color of the trim in comments to the order. The dress is made to be floor-length, otherwise you can specify your preferred length in comments to the order (when ordering custom size dress only, fixed size dresses are floor-length by default). Please note, the dress of size 6, 8, 10, 12 has the side bust darts for better shaping. Also, if the difference between your bust and waist circumferences exceeds 9 13/16 in (25 cm), the dress won't fit tightly. It has been a crazy couple of weeks - weddings, markets, and getting the shop ready for fall! Here are a few pictures of what I've been up to! Kane county flea market... I didn't get many pictures because Mark and I were swamped:) A farm fresh wedding... Lisa and Wayne live on a gorgeous farm which was the perfect spot for a rustic yet romantic wedding! Before Here's Ann helping out - we worked ALL day getting ready for this event! Willow branches and swags of burlap were tied to the perimeter of the tent which really made the tent feel private yet allowed the guests to see the beautiful scenery. We decorated and hung four of these GIANT shades to provide the perfect amount of lighting for guests! The entry was decorated with vintage elements but softened with lace and a chandelier. Vintage ball jars containing flowers from the garden gave the centerpieces the rustic look Lisa was looking for yet the gilded peacocks and peacock feather added a bit of romance. Some of the centerpiece were composed of twigs and paper elements! Mark and I used this vintage gazebo for the ceremony, we decorated it with tulle, burlap, paper and a vintage chandelier. The views were beautiful!! The ceremony was set away from the reception tent and allowed views of the entire property. These barn red vintage chairs were used outside for a lounge area. 3 french hens market.... Our 3 French Hens Market was such a fun time!! We had so many shoppers it was CRAZY!! We ended up having a total of 94 vendors with a great variety! Bright and summery wedding... Working with Julie was so fun and different - usually my customers want a tan and cream color pallette and tons of vintage items. Julie wasn't looking for vintage she wanted vibrant orange, purple, green and pink!! So fun!! I LOVE the green tablecloths we used! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week! XO Traci

Traditional T-shape linen tunic decorated with contrast accents, exclusive trim and colored jute and woolen cords. Ancient costume silhouettes of northern soldiers and lady warriors did not differ much. However, we tried to accentuate the beauty of the female figure, as much as viking clothing allows it with its free and floating cut. Quite spacious at biceps and narrowed to wrist sleeves make it possible to be engaged in any daily chores. Wide skirt reaches the ankle and does not "sweep" the floor, does not limit the step and emphasizes feminine silhouette. In ancient times not only clothes served to cover the body, protect from the weather and express social status, but also it served as a magical cover and talisman. Therefore, the ancient Scandinavians carefully decorated their costumes with lacing, embroidery and special decorative seams. It was especially important to "protect" all open sections - the hem, sleeves and collar - because it was believed that through these "gates" evil spirit could penetrate a person. We paid special attention to this issue in our design. The neck and the sleeves are trimmed with a contrasting linen tunic and narrow trim with traditional Scandinavian ornament. Hem is also decorated with two rows of trim (specially designed for this costume), contrasting fabrics, woolen cord matching the trim and jute cord matching the ornament on the trim. +Viking Leather Bracers "Shieldmaiden" https://www.etsy.com/listing/240618379/viking-leather-bracers-shieldmaiden-arm +Viking Costume Dress and Apron "Ingrid the Hearthkeeper" https://www.etsy.com/listing/240718336/viking-costume-dress-and-apron-ingrid +Leather Womens Shoes “Shieldmaiden” https://www.etsy.com/listing/238327959/leather-womens-shoes-shieldmaiden You may pay by СREDIT CARD without being a PayPal member!
