eruption time for all 32 teeth
Guess what? Shern has 2 teeth already. And he is just 4 mths old! (according to baby books/sites, first tooth should be around 6-7 months old) I just have to blog about this. To be exact, his first tooth erupted on the 12th October 2009 - Shern's week 19. And 4 days later, his 2nd tooth erupted. I already mention in Shern's week 17 update that I noticed 'white-ish thingy in his gums where his 2 teeth are supposed to be' but I just did not expect them to be erupted so soon. Dr. Dan says it can take up to a month or two or even longer for the teeth to be erupted even though you have seen signs of them. So Shern is teething very early! 15 October 2009 - This pic was taken showing Shern's First Baby Tooth Eruption (before his 2nd tooth was out) Due to Shern teething, he is now VERY lemak & manja. He keeps on making those pitiful cries with no tears, as though something is bothering him all the time. He now wants to sleep in my arms if he wakes up crying in the middle of the night. I know he is going through a difficult time. For memory's sake, I will keep a record of Shern's Tooth Chart here :) A.CENTRAL INCISOR B.LATERAL INCISOR C.CANINE / CUSPID D.FIRST MOLAR E.SECOND MOLAR Upper Teeth A Right - 24 December 2009 @ week 29 @ 6 mths & 3 weeks old A Left - 26 December 2009 @ week 29 @ 6 mths & 3 weeks old B Right - 28 January 2010 @ week 34 @ 7 mths & 4 weeks old B Left - 28 January 2010 @ week 34 @ 7 mths & 4 weeks old C Right - 16 August 2010 @ 14 mths C Left - 16 August 2010 @ 14 mths D Right - September 2010 @ 15 mths D Left - November 2010 @ 17 mths E Right - October 2010 @ 16 mths E Left - November 2010 @ 17 mths Lower Teeth A Right - 12 October 2009 @ week 19 @ 4 mths & 1 week old A Left - 16 October 2009 @ week19 @ 4 mths & 1 week old B Right - 15 March 2010 @ B Left - 24 February 2010 @ week 38 @ 8 mths & 3 weeks old C Right - 16 August 2010 @ 14 mths C Left - 16 August 2010 @ 14 mths D Right -20 August 2010 @ 14 mths D Left - November 2010 @ 17 mths E Right - 3 October 2010 @ 16 mths E Left - November 2010 @ 17 mths
Just as the eruption of the baby teeth follows a general schedule, the secondary teeth also usually erupt through the gums in a predictable order.
