Our name signs are laser cut from birch wood. 1/4 inch thick backgrounds with 1/8 inch letters. Also makes a great Christmas gift for Athletic trainers, coaches, Athletic directors, and PE teacher's classroom decor! ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************This is a wood product. There may be occasional lines, minor imperfections, the product will have characteristics of wood. Every sign we send out the door is checked over. There may be very minor paint imperfections although we do avoid that and only send the best possible product. We take pride in our work as we individually cut and paint every sign. The best wooden sign possible is guaranteed, not "perfection". The BACK of the sign are not perfect & is typically where we see the most wood grain, knots, & lines. But we do try to make the back of the sign presentable as possible.
This listing includes 3 worksheet pages with 36 different boxes total. This listing also includes a colored example page for reference. All pages are contained within a single PDF file and you can print what you would like. Each worksheet includes 12 boxes that have "starter" lines. Students are instructed to create an image or design from these starter lines...the more creative the better! This listing is for Pack 2 of the Imagination Workouts. To see the Imagination Workout Pack 1, go to this link: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Imagination-Workout-Creativity-Test-Drawing-Sub-Art-Lesson-Plan-Doodle-Worksheet-1249337 This is an excellent sub art lesson plan! The drawing keeps students busy while also using their creativity. This would also be a great lesson for the first day of class to keep kids motivated and excited to be in art class. Directions: 1. Introduce students to the concept of an imagination workout. You could even do an example on the board or have students practice on the first one together. 2. Next, instruct students to think outside the box. They can draw animals, shapes, buildings, cars, symbols, etc. 3. Students can also color in their drawings and doodles. 4. Give students five minutes to walk around the class to look at other student work. The kids get a huge kick out of seeing what other kids came up with...some are VERY creative! Other lessons: *Have students choose one doodle to recreate on a larger scale *Have students try to create a story/comic out of three different doodles of their choice *Have students pass their paper around from student to student until all 12 boxes are filled up (like the game Telephone)

I created this PDF worksheet to help students to think creatively, elaborate, and tell a story. I've used this when I taught in elementary (as young as kindergarten) and used it also in high school. There is no right or wrong answer and it is fun to see all the creative solutions that students come up with. My high school students taking the animation pathway especially liked this worksheet. We always share the results in class to see all the different solutions. I've included a blank sheet that you can have students create their own sheet and then switch with a partner and create a drawing from it. This adds a sense of challenge and game element to it.
