TOP FABRIC: A gorgeous vintage Japanese kimono silk appliquéd to the main base fabric with cut away edged detailing. These gorgeous large daffodils and are really striking with their long blue stems which contrasts with their large red and white flowers, the pattern has been screen printed onto a pale blue silk background. * The silk has been unpicked from a vintage traditional kimono and reused in this design, the silk is still in amazing condition. This listing is for one pair of pretty, detachable, ruched soft tulle dress straps with an elasticated loop for comfort on each end, plus 5 clear 15mm buttons (1 spare) to sew in to your dress to attach the loops around. They look great on the shoulder, on the edge of the shoulder (half on/half off) or off the shoulder. Wonderful to add a subtle touch of shoulder cover for maybe your wedding ceremony, and then you could remove them later on if you choose, to give your outfit a fresh look for the evening! Or of course you could sew them permanently into your dress. Will be made in your choice of mid ivory, off-white or black. NB: - I only sell straps in one standard size. This strap design measures approx 20 x 5 inches each strap, and the price is for a pair (2 straps). This 20 inch length has proved to be plenty long enough for the majority of brides since i started selling it, and it can be quite easily shortened to fit if necessary either by yourself or your seamstress. Of course all dress designs vary, as do all brides sizes. So you just need to measure from where straps join dress at front and back, either over your shoulder, or around the top of your arm, depending on whether you want to wear them on your shoulder or draped around top arm off the shoulder. The ends of each strap and button can be hidden inside the top of your dress to give a beautiful clean finish. Tulle can become wrinkled as it's stored. To remove the wrinkles, use steam from an iron to get the wrinkles out.
