Studies show that people remember the beginning of something, and the end of it, the best. The middle of it is recalled a little more hazily. Once a novel experience starts, your brain really starts focusing on what’s going on and quickly makes judgements about the new people you meet. And you clearly remember the […]

German painter Peter Wever received his training at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, followed by travels in the United States and Guatemala. Wever is known for his color etchings often dealing with relationships. His work has warmth, and often a touch of humour. Wever's dynamic art is an interesting mix of printmaking and paint.
Last week one of my therapist friends shared the above image on Instagram, which caught my attention. While I’m sure it is insightful for many, I feel it feeds the taboo around anger in our society…

Good character is made up of many qualities. Here’s an ABC list of character traits we can aspire to teach our children.

I just wanted to remind everyone that I will be on a blogging vacation until January 6th. I have some roundups that I wanted to share with you in the time I will be off and then on January 6th, I will be back with some fun new series and crafts! I wish a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours! Dex is finally getting interested in sorting, stacking (not just knocking down) and doing things with me. Now that he's almost 2 (OMG when did that happen) I have been doing some research on some little things that him and I can do together. I put together a quick little roundup with 6 ideas for "busy boxes" that I can start him on and leave him to his own to do. I thought I would share with you!
