Whilst a lot of Babka recipes use cinnamon or chocolate, today we are sharing a fresh summer twist - Sourdough Strawberry Babka with Cream Cheese Swirl! It's a nice and soft brioche dough rippled with creamy strawberry mixture. It is a lot less sweet than babkas made with fruit jam, but extremely decadent and delicious!

Add some milk, fresh yeast, half of the vanilla extract, most of the sugar, and the eggs to a large bowl. Whisk to combine. Add flour, salt, and some butter to the mixture. Mix then use your hands to knead into a smooth dough. On a flour-dusted work surface, form the dough into a ball. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise for approx. 30 min.
