Illusions and tattoos were destined to go hand-in-hand. Optical illusion tattoos are pieces of art that do as the name says — mess with the eyes. Though at first, it might seem like a simple work of ink on the skin, in reality, tattoos like these are some of the most creative things ever. A brilliant optical illusion tattoo is clever in its deception.
Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! I'm so excited to be posting today over on the Miss Kate Cuttables blog :) What it means is that I'm on the Design Team for 2015! As you know, Miss Kate Cuttables has the best darn SVG files and you can get one for FREE everyday! YES...FREE!!! Go HERE for today's FREEBIE. Here's my project I made for today... (Click on pic to enlarge) Front Side Angle I just love this tissue box... I used the Miss Kate Cuttables "Sorry You're Sick" file and put it on this cute tissue box that I made with my Silhouette Studio. I added a cute little sentiment from my Scrappy Mom's stamp set called "Simply Said!". Then, I finished it all off with some Totally Red Trendy Twine. Isn't this the cutest? I hope you enjoyed my project today...I would love it if you would leave me a comment and tell me what you think :)
Hello all! This card is definitely one of a kind :) One of my husband's co-workers loves pigs and when it was her birthday, he asked if I could come up with a card for her. This is what I came up with! The patterned paper for the mats is from The Paper Studio's Kirby Teesdale Studio matstack. I used two sets of Gina Marie Designs dies for the mats...stitched rectangles and scalloped stitched nested rectangles. The pig is an SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables. I added some glossy accents to the mud for a little extra visual interest. I used Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine for a bow on the pig's ear and wrapped and tied a bow with Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine towards the bottom. The sentiment stamp is from Mark's Finest Papers' Friends set.
Multi-layered die-cut made from acid-free paper and cardstock in my smoke-free home. This die-cut would be perfect to embellish your scrapbook layouts! Each item is handmade and pieced together by me. Disclaimer: some SVG patterns are from Cricut, Treasure Box Designs, Little Scraps Of Heaven Designs, Dancing Daisy, Myscrapchick, Miss Kates Cuttables, and Lisa’s Precious Piecings. By selling these items, I am simply charging for materials and labor in assembling them — and not claiming the SVG files as my own. Looking for something similar? Other handmade die cuts are available, or let Memories by Margot create a custom order for you! Hello! Britt Bass here from Pink Paper Crowns bringing you a fun layout that includes a big banner and lots of room for journlaing! First up, though, we have the FREEBIE of the Day!! Aren't these AWESOME!? You could even use the starts for 4th of July pictures! ________________________________ This layout pretty much started from these photos and a sketch that I had pinned on Pinterest ( sketch by Jana Eubank!) I like using sketches for die cutting projects because I can put all the elements into my digital mat (even if I'm not cutting all of them) and see how things are going to turn out, proportionally. Here is what my digital mat looked like, once I decided on the files I wanted and the changes I would make to the sketch. I didn't worry about the colors or exact shapes, but I did put the photos in the correct size and tried to keep the proportions very similar because I sized everything to fit with this, basic layout. Here is my finished page: As you can see, the finished layout has lots more embellishing and is really much softer because of the colors in my supplies. Here are the files I used: Forever Sisters Banners Set of 5 (My Favorite!) ___________________________________ I hope you like seeing part of my process when designing my layouts using cut files! Please follow Miss Kate on Facebook! And, since we talked about my sketch archive on Pinterest, please follow me on Pinterest! Have an awesome day!!!

Hi folks, it's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today. And I sure am happy to be here. Before I share my project today, I want to remind you to pick up your Freebie of the Day...it's like Christmas every day at Miss Kate's! I'm not a fan of the cold weather, so it stands to reason I'm not big into outdoor winter sports and activities. But that's certainly not the case with these Penguins Sledding! You can just see the delight on their faces as they race down that hill, can't you? I knew I wanted to make a slider card, but I had a hard time deciding between this cut file and the Penguins Ice Skating. Either would have worked well! I used another cut file for the inside, 'Tis the Season to be Freezin'. Actually, I used just one of the words, but this is a really nice title and I plan on using it in its entirety some other time. If you'd like to see more pictures of the card and details about how it came together, please visit me at Katydid Cards. If you visit, be sure to say hello!

Happy Friday, friends! Shellye along with you today with a take on a very popular trend right now: pop up cards! I've created my card with Authentique Paper's "Anchored" Collection and I will have a tutorial on my blog today of how I put it together. But first, let's not forget about the FREEBIE OF THE DAY I've used a few different cute nautical themed kits from Miss Kates Cuttables: Cute Crab Anchors Aweigh Come Sail Away You can find various instructions online for creating the actual card base; I've used my own modifications for this project, which I'll have on my blog. I also have a little tip on how I added the splashes of water! Even though Authentique's papers tend to be on the more 'vintage' side, I found it so much fun to put together with Miss Kate's cuteness! If you don't all ready, please 'like' Miss Kate Cuttables on Facebook :) And again, I will have all of the details of today's project up on my blog: www.shellyemcdaniel.com Thank you for visiting Miss Kate Cuttables!

Hi everyone, Martha Lucia from Stampartpapel here. Miss Kate Cuttables SVG Files: Flowers & Christmas are the projects that I prepared for you. I am so happy because today is my day to post on Miss Kate Cuttables Blog!!! This is the third year that I have had this opportunity and honor and I love to share with you. Miss Katte Cuttables has an excelent promotion in their store everyday. It is free and wonderful! So, I want to make sure you go grab the FREEBIE of the day! As a designer I had the opportunity to choose the SVG that I want to use, which was hard work because playing with the Miss Kate Cuttables SVG Files is a real pleasure. So I decided to make two different projects, one for summer and one for Christmas in July, Miss Kate Cuttables SVG Files: Flowers & Christmas!!!To make this card I used the Hibiscus SVG File. I cut in my Cricut Explore all the layers in Very Vanilla Cardstock and colored each piece with Studio 71 Alcohol Markers and then assembled all the pieces.I made the base of the card using Sahara Sand card stock and created a die cut frame and sentiment with Whisper White cardstock and the Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti. My second card is honoring Christmas in July and this Dear Santa Title SVG file is the best to start thinking on Christmas! With it, I made a Christmas card for someone very special!!! I made this by combining traditional Christmas colors. All the pieces were cut on cardstock of different colors and pasted over Old Olive card base.I hope you enjoyed my projects! I’d love to see some of you try one of these and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE. See you soon! Martha Lucia
