The Stampin Up Winter Woods Bundle is Stunning!!
This is my favourite Bundle from the Autumn / Winter Catalogue. It is not just for Christmas but thinking of you, get well, men's birthday and sympthy cards. First up is that beautiful line of trees embossed in white. I used a Brayer for the background of the second card and yellow and blue inks. The trees were embossed in white. This is the card that I am sending to one of my sons who has just moved to Kew Gardens in London where he is doing a 3 year Diploma course. I inked up the trees in Pumpkin Pie and then daubed on some Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze inks. The Soft Suede card base was embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder. The last card uses a combination of Old Olive, Garden Green and Tranquil Tide with Early Espresso for the tree trunks. The Garden Green base card is embossed with the Wood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder.
Today's simple Saturday card highlights many new products from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. However, I have used them in a "non-holiday" way. The Winter Woods stamp set, In the Woods Framelits, Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets and Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper (envelope
Every project I make has a story that goes with it. Whether that story is about how (or why) I designed the project or about what was going on in my life at the time, each project has a history. I love that I have created and shared so much,

Hello and welcome to my blog. I love using our stunning Designer Series Papers. I love using dies. I can use all our wonderful products to make pretty cards. And I love doing so. Sometimes though, all that is needed to make a card is some stamps and a little bit of ink. The special bit happens when you write inside the card and send it. Sending love and telling the person you are sending the card to that you are thinking of them makes a world of difference. I am a firm believer of this. Today's thinking of you card is simply made and uses but a few ingredients. I taped some scrap paper over a piece of Whisper White card leaving an exposed rectangle of space in the middle. Then I used a sponge brayer to apply Pool Party ink over it. Early Espresso ink was then used to stamp the tree image, from the Winter Woods set, onto the Pool Party rectangle. The words from the Woven Heirlooms set are the perfect partner to the trees. Simplistic, to the point and with a handwritten style. Even though the card is sparce I think that it is quite striking. Made and sent with love. I hope you like it too. If you want to purchase the items used for this card, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. Welcome to another fabulous Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. This challenge is full of cheerful spring-inspired images that are full of creative inspiration. I ordered the Country Woods Suite Collection after OnStage and the cute little birdhouse from the Country Birdhouse bundle was perfect for this challenge! . I love that you can either stamp and die-cut the birdhouse or you can build your own birdhouse with the additional dies. I chose to build my own, using paper from both Country Woods and Country Lace DSP. The striped Country Lace pattern in the background is my favorite! I stamped the bird and floral images from Country Birdhouse and colored them with Calypso Coral and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends. The sweet birdie was colored with Boho Blue, Pool Party and Pecan Pie. The Country Flower dies helps to add some extra foliage and flowers as well. The Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls are so pretty! They filled the center of each flower with just the right amount of shimmer. A simple Hello Friend sentiment finished this sweet little card. Oh, and I can't forget the adorable hanging bow at the top of the bird house! All of these items will be available with the launch of the new catalog on May 1, 2024. This will be a suite you want to add to your collection for sure! Happy Stamping!

The Winter Meadow designer paper & the Magical Meadow stamp & dies bundle are among my favorites from the 2023 Holiday catalog. Pretty products produce pretty projects! Say that three times! Ha! I was playing with the designer paper and had these two pieces among the scraps in my paper pack. I simply added a layer of Blueberry Bushel card stock to one piece and added them to the White card base offset from each other for balance. Easy peasy!...

I am starting a new video series called Simple Stamping. Since I am Stamping in a trailer for the next while I think a lot of my cards will be Simple Stamping as I don't have a lot of room to store products or room to create without taking up the whole trailer. Today's project features a forest scene, Gilded Leafing with the Winter Woods Set, plus a fun die-cut opening with a surprise inside.
Hi Everyone, For today's card I went with a monochromatic look using Whisper White, Shimmer White and Very Vanilla. I added in just a touch of gold and am so happy with how it turned out. The dies I used on the tree are from the Pine Woods Dies and will be so versatile for so many projects. It does come in a bundle with a matching stamp set but I didn't use it today. The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas set in the annual catalog and is a favorite of mine. Hope you enjoy!
